摘要: Methods and systems are provided for operating a split exhaust engine system that provides blowthrough air and exhaust gas recirculation to an intake passage via a first exhaust manifold and exhaust gas to an exhaust passage via a second exhaust manifold. In one example, each of a first valve positioned in an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) passage, the EGR passage coupled between the intake passage and the first exhaust manifold coupled to a first set of cylinder exhaust valves, and a second valve positioned in a flow passage coupled between the first exhaust manifold and the exhaust passage may be adjusted based on a measured pressure in the first exhaust manifold.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for flowing exhaust gas in an exhaust system of an engine. In one example, a method may include flowing a first portion of exhaust gas to a turbine, from the turbine to at least one aftertreatment device, then from the at least one aftertreatment device to atmosphere, and flowing a second portion of exhaust gas to the at least one aftertreatment device, bypassing the turbine, then from the aftertreatment device to atmosphere, during a second condition. The method may also include, during a second condition, flowing a third portion of exhaust gas to the at least one aftertreatment device, from the at least one aftertreatment device to the turbine, and then from the turbine to atmosphere, and flowing a fourth portion of exhaust gas to the at least one aftertreatment device, and then from the at least one aftertreatment device to atmosphere, bypassing the turbine.

Each heat exchange segment comprises a case having an opening only on a surface of the case, at least outside of the opening being plugged fluid-tightly by the plug member, and a guide member, e.g., fin accommodated in the case, and provided with a plurality of passages allowing only gas flow in a predetermined direction, and gas intake passages and gas exhaust passages at the upstream and downstream thereof, wherein an opening of the case is provided with a gas inlet port communicated with the gas intake passage, and a gas outlet port communicated with the gas exhaust passages.

摘要: An apparatus, system, and method for dual-mode vehicle-mounted cleaning are provided. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a heat-exchanger subsystem having first and second heat-receiving pathways and a heat-providing pathway. Heat exhaust from a combustion engine is routed through the heat-providing pathway to transfer heat to both the first and second heat-receiving pathways. The first heat-receiving pathway, the second heat-receiving pathway, and the heat-providing pathway are fluidly independent of each other. The apparatus also includes a first liquid pathway fluidly coupled to the first heat-receiving pathway, configured to direct a hard-surface cleaning liquid, by a first pump, through the first heat-receiving pathway to a hard-surface cleaning tool, and a second liquid pathway fluidly coupled to the second heat-receiving pathway, configured to direct a soft-surface cleaning liquid, at a lower pressure than a first liquid in the first liquid pathway, through the second heat-receiving pathway to a soft-surface cleaning tool.
