Abstract:
A test arrangement is provided for AC voltage testing of high voltage components including at least one inverter, at least one test transformer, at least one high-voltage inductor and at least one further high voltage component arranged as test components in a common cuboid container. The at least one high-voltage inductor is movable at least partially out of the container through at least one opening on a boundary surface of the container, by means of a movement apparatus. The at least one further high voltage component is movable within the cuboid container from a transport position to a working position.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to an improved, reliably performable process for preparing triallyl isocyanurate (TAIC) by Cu2+-catalysed rearrangement of triallyl cyanurate (TAC) at at least 90° C. According to the invention, TAC and, if required, also a Cu2+ catalyst and solvent are fed continuously to a start reaction mixture after onset of the initially inhibited isomerization reaction, the isomerization is performed at from 90 to 160° C. and an amount of reaction mixture equivalent to the amount of reactant is drawn off continuously and sent to the workup. Preference is given to effecting the isomerization in TAIC as the reaction medium.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed towards a method for the production of 2,4,6-trimercapto-1,3,5-triazine (TMT-H3). In particular, the method of the subject matter relates to the operation of acidifying the salts of 2,4,6-trimercapto-1,3,5-triazine in aqueous solution and in a defined pH range.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments are directed to a test arrangement for testing surge voltage in electrical high voltage components with a surge voltage generator and a voltage distributor. The surge voltage generator and voltage distributor have a tower-like structure with a first and a second structure end. A rectangular container is connected to the first and second structure and includes a first and a second container end. At least one of the surge voltage generator and the voltage distributor are movable between a first substantially horizontal position inside the container and a substantially vertical position relative to the container. Each movement between the two positions involves a pivot motion about a rotational axis perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the surge voltage generator.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing postcrosslinked water-absorbing polymeric formations, comprising the steps of contacting water-absorbing polymeric formations P1 obtained by polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated acid-functional monomers or salts thereof in the presence of a crosslinker with a fluid F1 comprising a postcrosslinker, heating the water-absorbing polymeric formations in contact with the fluid F1 to a temperature in a range from 40 to 300° C. to obtain postcrosslinked water-absorbing polymeric formations P2, the water-absorbing polymeric formations P1 having a thermal stability, as determined in accordance with the test method described herein, of less than 3.0%. The invention also relates to water-absorbing polymeric formations, to the water-absorbing polymeric formations obtainable by this process, to water-absorbing polymeric formations based on crosslinked carboxyl-bearing monomers, to a composite comprising water-absorbing polymeric formations and a substrate, to a process for producing a composite, to a composite obtainable by this process, to chemical products comprising water-absorbing polymeric formations or a composite, to the use of water-absorbing polymeric formations or of a composite in chemical products and also to the use of triallyl isocyanurate as an internal crosslinker in the production of water-absorbing polymeric formations based on crosslinked carboxyl-bearing monomers.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a process for the isolation of tris(2,3-dibromopropyl)isocyanurate. The process uses an adsorbent which promotes easy conversion into a solid form of TDPI. The invention also includes to the solid TDPI product prepared in this way and its use in providing flame retardancy to plastics.
Abstract:
The invention relates to water-soluble, chlorhexidine-containing compositions having a long shelf life. The compositions are in the form of powder, granules or tablets and consist substantially of (i) a salt of chlorhexidine with 2 moles of a sugar acid and a microbicidally active quaternary ammonium bromide, or of (ii) chlorhexidine, a sugar acid or sugar lactone, with at least 2 moles of sugar acid or sugar lactone being present per mole of chlorhexidine, and a microbicidally active quaternary ammonium bromide. Peferred compositions consist substantially of chlorhexidine digluconate and N-cetyl-N,N,N-trimethylammonium bromide (cetrimide) in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:10. The solid compositions are stable, with little or no p-chloroaniline splitting off during storage.
Abstract:
There is described new alkylene bismelamines and their production. They correspond to the formula ##STR1## in which o is a number from 10 to 18. Alkylene bismelamines serve as stabilizers for formaldehyde solutions and as such have an outstanding suitability and activity.
Abstract:
Crude pentaerythritol is freed from bis-pentaerythritol monoformal impurity by heating it as a dry material to a temperature of 160.degree. to 200.degree. C.
Abstract:
The embodiments relate to a test configuration for an impulse voltage test of electric high-voltage components with a lightning generator. The lightning generator can be moved between a first horizontal position within a cuboid container, and a vertical position relative to the container. A movement between the two positions includes a pivoting movement about a rotational axis. The proofing movement is transverse to the longitudinal direction of the lightning generator. The container can be closed at the top by at least one moveable cover.
