Abstract:
A controller for a DDR PSRAM is provided. The controller includes a single rate processing unit, a double rate processing unit and a selector. The signal rate processing unit obtains a single data rate data according to a first data and a first clock. The double rate processing unit obtains a double data rate data according to a second data and a second clock that is two times the frequency of the first clock. The selector selectively provides any of the single data rate data and the double data rate data to the DDR PSRAM via a common bus according to a control signal.
Abstract:
A computing system and method providing normal security services and high security services are disclosed. The computing system includes hardware resources, a processor core and an access right checker. The hardware resources are grouped into resource security levels. The processor, switching between a normal security and a high security state, assigns a user access right to a request. In comparison with the normal security state, user access right assigned in the high security state further allows the request to use the hardware resources of a higher resource security level. According to the assigned user access right and the resource security levels of required hardware resources of the request, the access right checker determines whether the request has the authority to use the hardware resources, and thereby, the access right checker executes the request or responds the issued request with an exception.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a Schmitt trigger-based FinFET static random access memory (SRAM) cell, which is an 8-FinFET structure. A FinFET has the functions of two independent gates. The new SRAM cell uses only 8 FinFET per cell, compared with the 10-FinFET structure in previous works. As a result, the cell structure of the present invention can save chip area and raise chip density. Furthermore, this new SRAM cell can effectively solve the conventional problem that the 6T SRAM cell is likely to have read errors at a low operating voltage.

Abstract:
A crystal-bead-contained glass has a circumferential wall in which a hermetical hollow chamber is formed. The glass forms a filling opening in communication with the hollow chamber for receiving crystal beads and water that are mixed according to a given ratio into the hollow chamber. The crystal beads, after mixed with water, expand and fill up the hollow chamber to form a sparkling visual effect. The crystal beads are mixed with water in a ratio of 7 gram of crystal beads added with 240 cc water, which provides the best resiliency and toughness. The crystal beads can be made with various colors to provide a colorful vision after mixed with water to attract the attention of consumers. The glass can be deposited in a freezer chamber to freeze the crystal beads so as to extend the time period of cold-keeping in using the glass to enjoy beverages.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for registering fingerprints, setting a login method for an application, and logging into the application are provided. In the registration phase, the system receives a fingerprint signal, which is assigned to one of the many finger related data. In the phase which sets the login method, the system detects a login-signal, which comprises an identity, a password, and a command to execute the application. The system commands the display of the fingerprint related data and receives a selection message corresponding to one of the finger related data. The system assigns the application, the identity, the password to the selected fingerprint related data. In the login phase, the system receives the fingerprint signal and thereby, retrieves the corresponding application, the identity, and the password as well. The system generates a start signal comprising the identity, the password, and the command to execute the application.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a speed adjustment system and method for performing the same, which is capable to provide different power saving behaviors adaptive for different applications (e.g. a mobile or a normal configuration) and/or different-corner-process chips. The speed adjustment system includes a reference speed generator for pre-storing multiple reference speed value, an operating speed generator for pre-storing multiple operating speed value, a comparing unit for determining whether a predefined logical operational relationship is satisfied with the operating speed value and reference speed value, a voltage controller based on said determination result to vary the operating voltage, and a speed detector for detecting the operating speed value.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for providing bactericide or bacteriostatic, especially for treating disease due to bacterial infection. The method comprising administering a patient in need of such treatment a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of dextromethorphan or naloxone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or an analog thereof. The compound is applied to skin or mucosal surface of the patient. The invention also relates to a method of treating inflammation caused by suppressing secretion of TNF-α, IL-6, or MCP-1 from macrophage comprising administering a patient in need of such treatment a therapeutically effective amount of NADPH oxidase inhibitor.
Abstract:
A method of controlling gate formation of semiconductor devices includes determining the correlation between the step heights of isolation structures and the over-etching time by measuring step heights of isolation structures, determining an over-etching time based on the step heights, and etching gates using the over-etching time. The method may include an after-etching-inspection to measure the gate profile and fine-tune the gate formation control. Within-wafer uniformity can also be improved by measuring the step height uniformity on a wafer and adjusting gate formation processes.
