Abstract:
A conveyor for a treatment apparatus such as a hydrostatic cooker, said conveyor carrying swingably suspended receptacles for bottles, jars or the like containers. In order to keep the containers immovably in the receptacles, the latter have confining means consisting of at least one tiltable covering lath on top of the receptacle and vertical partitions within the receptacle, said partitions being positioned according to a specific configuration.
Abstract:
A device for tilting consecutively a row of advancing containers from an upright to a lying position by applying an accelerating force in the feed direction to the bottom of the containers so that the containers fall backwards during their uninterrupted travel.
Abstract:
Starting with an apertured cylindrical matrix an electrically insulating material is applied over the matrix to close the matrix apertures. A layer of metal is then deposited electrically on the matrix to form a metal film screen. A layer of transparent plastic material is then applied onto the metal film screen and the film screen of metal and transparent plastic is then removed from the matrix. The starting matrix may be expanded by mandrel or the like prior to the closing of the matrix openings and to carrying out the other steps and the outer diameter of the matrix is then reduced prior to removing the film screen therefrom. The starting cylindrical matrix may also comprise a thin-walled apertured sleeve which is deformed into a kidney-shaped section to reduce its outer diameter prior to removing the film screen therefrom.
Abstract:
A rotary screen printing machine comprising at least one thinwalled cylindrical stencil operative in a printing path defined by the upper flight of an endless belt guided along two turning wheels, at least one of which is positively driven, a pair of stiff rollers being in pressing contact with the belt in a position ahead of the stencils, one or both rollers and all the stencils being operatively connected to said driven turning wheel.
Abstract:
A squeegee structure for a screen printing machine in which the squeegee is suspended at both ends by a lever having its pivotal axis coinciding with the edge of the squeegee blade which is in contact with the inner surface of the screen.
Abstract:
A device for removing the internal parts from slaughtered poultry, comprising a supporting plate, a spatula and a rockable spoon the latter two to be moved into, and out of, the bird to loosen the internal parts and to withdraw them, said means being connected by brackets which are pivotally supported in a frame.
Abstract:
For the stiffening of a web-shaped fleece of fibrous material, a stiffening agent is applied to a face of the fleece by means of a cylindrical stencil having internally a squeegee. By keeping the travelling speed of the fleece at least 1 percent higher than the tangential velocity of the stencil, no fibres of the fleece will adhere to the stencil.
Abstract:
By starting from a non-bound fibre fleece one manufactures a composition consisting of a fleece strengthened at the fibre junctions with a stiffening agent and a foil, by taking care to have a discontinuous pattern of said stiffening agent available at the moment of uniting said fleece with said foil; the discontinuous pattern is obtained with a cylindrical screen with internal squeegee.
Abstract:
A device for removing the metatarsus and the achilles'' tendon from poultry hanging on a conveyor track with means for breaking the metatarsus and with a drawing member positioned under the conveyor and moving synchronously therewith, acting directly above the joint between the metatarsus and the tibia and directed away from the conveyor over a vertical distance exceeding the length of the metatarsus below the point at which it is suspended.
Abstract:
Device for applying a film of glue to a travelling belt of a screen printing machine, especially for textile fabric, said device comprising a roller contacting the belt along a genatrix on one side and dipping into a glue trough on the opposite side, further comprising a flexible doctor lying mainly parallel to said roller and having means to curve an adjustable length of both end parts towards said roller.
