摘要: A vehicle-mounted electronic control apparatus can perform a variety of abnormality detections while reducing the control load of a microprocessor in the abnormality detection of a volatile backup memory that is backed up by an on-board battery. The apparatus includes a control CPU which is fed with power from a main power supply circuit upon closure of a power switch, a nonvolatile control memory and a backup memory. Even if the power switch is opened, the backup memory, being a partial area of a RAM memory, is fed with power through an auxiliary power supply circuit connected directly to the battery. When the battery is replaced with a new one and connected again, a power supply interruption monitoring memory is reset. At the start of operation of the control CPU, the backup memory is initialized based on reset information, and the power supply interruption monitoring memory is rewritten into a set state.

摘要: A single state detector circuit can quickly detect short-circuit and open-circuit abnormalities of a load controlled by a power transistor. A DC power supply, the load and the power transistor are serially connected with one another, so that a switching terminal voltage of the power transistor is binarized into high and low levels by the state detector. The power transistor is linearly controlled by a constant-current control circuit so as to suppress an excessive current, and power supplied to the power transistor is interrupted by an overheat interruption circuit. Upon occurrence of a short-circuit in the load during generation of an energization command, a switching terminal voltage of the power transistor becomes stabilized at a high level without intermittent operation, which is detected by the state detector. Upon occurrence of an open-circuit during generation of a deenergization command, a low switching terminal voltage is detected by the state detector.

摘要: A resin-sealed electronic controller obtained by bonding and fixing a circuit board to a thermally-conductive base plate, and integrating circuit components with a molding resin so as to reduce the size. A base plate includes a first exposed portion, a second exposed portion, and an adjacent flat portion adjacent to a central window hole. First circuit components which are low-heat-generating components with large height are located in the central window hole. Second circuit components which are high-heat-generating components with small height are provided on an area corresponding to the adjacent flat portion. A height dimension of the first circuit components at least partially overlaps a thickness dimension of the base plate, to reduce a total thickness dimension. The high-heat-generating components and the low-heat-generating components being provided separately from each other permits increased mounting density of low-heat-generating components, reducing an area of the circuit board.

摘要: In a linear solenoid 107n, an electromagnetic coil 71n, a pressure sensor 72n, and label resistors 73n and 74n for correcting an inherent variation in a pressure detection characteristic are integrated; the standard characteristic of the pressure sensor 72n is stored in a control module 120M; when driving is started, the resistance values of the label resistors 73n and 74n are read, the pressure detection characteristic of the utilized pressure sensor 72n is corrected, and an excitation current for the electromagnetic coil 71n is controlled in such a way that a target adjusted hydraulic pressure is obtained. Even when due to a change in the oil temperature, the valve opening characteristic of the linear solenoid 107n changes, the adjusted hydraulic pressure is controlled to be constant.

摘要: A linear solenoid is configured with an electromagnetic coil and a label resistor that are integrated with each other; the label resistor has a resistance value corresponding to a correction coefficient based on the difference between the actual characteristic of the supply current vs. adjusted hydraulic pressure output of the electromagnetic coil and a standard characteristic; and data for correcting a characteristic variation in the command current vs. output current characteristic of an electromagnetic coil is preliminarily stored in a control module by use of an adjustment tool. When the operation is started, the resistance value of the label resistor is read and an output current corresponding to a utilized linear solenoid is supplied, so that a target adjusted hydraulic pressure is obtained.

摘要: The car-mounted electronic control device is constructed to include a main control circuit unit to be powered with a car-mounted battery through a switching element and a main power source circuit, and a starting timer circuit unit powered at all times through an auxiliary power source circuit. The timer circuit unit is provided with a sub CPU for acting in synchronism with a high-speed clock signal, and a timing counter for counting the frequency-divided signal of a low-speed clock signal. When a power source switch is opened to interrupt a switching element, the timer circuit unit measures a target awakening time periodically by contrasting the period of the low-speed clock signal to the period of the high-speed clock signal.
