Abstract:
A plasma display panel including a first substrate and a second substrate opposing one another with a predetermined gap therebetween, address electrodes formed along a first direction on the first substrate, and barrier ribs mounted in the gap between the first and second substrates and defining a plurality of discharge cells. First electrodes and second electrodes are formed on the second substrate along a second direction, which crosses the first direction. The address electrodes include expanded segments with an enlarged width in areas corresponding to the discharge cells, and indented segments that are indented at areas corresponding to gaps between the first electrodes and the second electrodes.
Abstract:
TSG-6 protein and functional derivatives thereof, DNA coding therefor, expression vehicles, such as a plasmids, and host cells transformed or transfected with the DNA molecule, and methods for producing the protein and the DNA are provided, as well as antibodies specific for the TSG-6 protein; a method for detecting the presence of TSG-6 protein in a biological sample; a method for detecting the presence of nucleic acid encoding a normal or mutant TSG-6 protein; a method for measuring induction of expression of TSG-6 in a cell using either nucleic acid hybridization or immunoassay; a method for identifying a compound capable of inducing the expression of TSG-6 in a cell; and a method for measuring the ability of a cell to respond to TNF.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a system and method for providing search results. The system for providing search results comprises: a keyword-receiving unit which receives a keyword from a user; an exposure-order-applying unit which applies, to a collection search bar, the order of exposure of a collection containing a listing of keyword search results; and a search-result-providing unit which provides the user with a webpage of the keyword search results, said webpage containing the collection search bar.
Abstract:
A light guide plate includes a light incident surface, a light emitting surface and a light guide surface. The light incident surface receives light from an external light source. The light emitting surface emits outward the light received through the light incident surface. The light guide surface faces the light emitting surface and includes a diffusion pattern formed thereon. The diffusion pattern includes a plurality of porous particles and a plurality of spheroidal particles, and the porous particles have pores formed therein and on surfaces thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to herbal extracts of Sinapis Semen, Corydalis Tuber, Pharbitidis Seed, and Strychni Ignatii Semen, and a composition containing the same for treating and preventing gastrointestinal motility disorder. The extracts of the present invention have a remarkable effect of promoting gastrointestinal motility through HT3 receptor antagonism and/or HT4 receptor antagonism.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel quinoline derivative compound, an optical isomer thereof, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a hydrate or a solvate thereof. The novel quinoline derivative compound, the optical isomer thereof, the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and the hydrate or the solvate thereof accelerates gastrointestinal movement, and thus can effectively prevent or treat gastrointestinal motility disorders.
Abstract:
A copy prohibition method and system is disclosed, which can provide a preview page with copy prohibition means inserted thereinto, so as to prohibit a copy of information displayed on the preview page, the method comprising receiving a selection request for a preview page of a predetermined webpage from a user; inserting copy prohibition means into the preview page; and providing the preview page with the copy prohibition means inserted thereinto to the user. When providing the preview page to the user, the user is notified that the corresponding preview page has the copy prohibition function. Thus, the user becomes easily aware of that the copy is prohibited in the corresponding preview page.
Abstract:
A method and system for providing search results only inclusive of valid webpage(s) to a user is disclosed, the method comprising: receiving a first search query from a first user; providing to the first user first search results obtained in response to the first search query; determining whether a webpage selected by the first user from the first search results is valid or not; receiving a second search query from a second user; providing to the second user second search results obtained in response to the second search query if it is determined that the webpage selected by the first user is valid; and correcting the second search results obtained in response to the second search query and providing the corrected second search results to the second user if it is determined that the webpage selected by the first user is not valid and is included in the second search results.
Abstract:
A C+N austenitic stainless steel with high mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance and a fabrication method thereof are provided. The C+N austenitic stainless steel consists of: 8 to 12 wt. % manganese; 15 to 20 wt. % chromium; 2 wt. % or less nickel; 4 wt. % or less tungsten; 2 wt. % or less molybdenum; 0.6 to 1.0 wt. % of total C+N content; a balance of iron; and unavoidable impurities. The austenitic stainless steel fabricated provides mechanical properties of a tensile strength of 850 MPa or higher and an uniform elongation of 45% or higher, obtained through controlling the contents of the interstitial elements and those of the substitutional elements. The alloy also provides corrosion resistance and a biocompatibility due to the minimized content of nickel which causes allergic reaction to the human body. Therefore, the C+N austenitic stainless steel is applicable in the fabrication of a variety of functional components and structural fields.
Abstract:
A manufacturing method of a photonic crystal is provided. In the method, a high-refractive-index material is conformally deposited on an exposed portion of a periodic template composed of a low-refractive-index material by an atomic layer deposition process so that a difference in refractive indices or dielectric constants between the template and adjacent air becomes greater, which makes it possible to form a three-dimensional photonic crystal having a superior photonic bandgap. Herein, the three-dimensional structure may be prepared by a layer-by-layer method.
