    摘要: A conventional pneumatic fender has an outer protection cover composed of used tires and steel chains. Due to the high friction coefficient at the tire side surfaces and the ship motion induced high impact forces, the lateral friction forces could be very high. These high friction forces not only increase the wearing damages at the tire side surfaces, but also cause scratching damages to the paints on the ship outer shell. A new type of outer protection cover using plastic plates is utilized to replace used tires and steel chains in order to reduce the wearing damages to the fender and to reduce the scratching damages to ship outer shell paints. Such reduction should be able to help the shipping industry achieve cost savings from decrease of scheduled ship re-paintings in dry docks.

    摘要: The present invention provides a light emitting device power supply circuit with dimming function and a control circuit thereof. The light emitting device power supply circuit includes: a phase-cut dimming circuit, a rectifier circuit, a transformer circuit, and a control circuit. The transformer circuit includes an auxiliary winding, which is coupled to a primary winding, for generating a bleeder current to keep a conduction current higher than a holding current and prevent the phase-cut dimming circuit from turning OFF when the phase-cut dimming circuit operates in conductive phase. The control circuit includes a waveform analysis circuit, a bleeder current control circuit, and a bleeder current source. The bleeder current source includes a linear regulator or a variable current source. The bleeder current source controls the bleeder current so that the bleeder current is generated in a continuous and non-switching manner within the conductive phase.

    摘要: A system for charging and discharging batteries includes a battery module, an adapter, a charger, and an electronic device electrically connected to the charger and the battery module. The battery module includes a first cell battery, a second cell battery, and a first switch electrically connected to the first and second battery cells. The adapter receives an AC voltage, and converts the AC voltage to a DC voltage. The charger receives the DC voltage, and charges the battery module accordingly. The electronic device is electrically connected to the charger and the battery module. When the charger charges the battery module, the first switch is switched to electrically connect the first and second battery cells with the charger in series. When the battery module discharges to the electronic device, the first switch is switched to electrically connect the first and second battery cells with the electronic device in parallel.

    摘要: A method for embedding a secret message into a PNG image comprises steps: converting a secret message into a plurality of secret codes; converting the secret codes into a plurality of secret shares; using a mapping process to modify values of the secret shares to approach a full-transparent value of an alpha channel of a PNG image, and sequentially embedding the mapped secret shares into the alpha channel. As the secret shares with high-transparent values, they leave the RGB channels untouched. Thus, embedding the secret shares into the PNG image does not make difference in the appearances between the secret-carrying image and the original PNG image. Therefore, the present invention can transmit secret message securely and realize covert communication.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a charge control circuit for supplying power from an external power source to a first common node and charging a second common node from the first common node. A regulator circuit is coupled between the external power source and the first common node, and a transistor is coupled between the first common node and the second common node. The present invention detects an operation parameter of the transistor and controls an internal voltage source to generate a non-predetermined voltage difference accordingly. When the sum of the voltage at the second common node and the non-predetermined voltage is equal to or higher than the reference voltage, the voltage at the first common node is regulated to a level higher than the voltage at the second common node, and the transistor is in an optimum conductive state.
