Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, systems, and machine-readable mediums for unmanned aerial vehicle drive testing and mapping of carrier signals are disclosed. An example method may include determining that an unmanned aerial vehicle is travelling on a flight route at an altitude for determination of network performance of a cellular network. The method may further include determining, using an antenna, signal diagnostics of the cellular network during travel of the unmanned aerial vehicle on the flight route. The method may conclude with transmitting the signal diagnostics of the cellular network to a service provider.

Abstract: Example methods and systems are disclosed to facilitate detection and identification of devices connected to a cellular network and that are causing interference to the cellular network. An example method may include receiving, by a serving base station of the device, a first set of information associated with data communications of a device utilizing a cellular network. The method may further include determining the device is an interfering device based on the first set of information associated with the data communication substantially corresponding with an interfering device profile, and in response tracking the device. During the tracking of the device, a second set of information associated with the data communications from the device may be obtained, and an interfering device type of the device may be determined based on the second set of information. An action may be performed on the interfering device based on its interfering device type.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture (e.g., physical storage media) to facilitate maintaining network connectivity of aerial devices during unmanned flight are disclosed. An example method may include providing, to an access point of a radio access network (RAN) during flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on a flight route, channel allocation instructions for connecting the UAV to the radio access network via communication channels. The method may further include detecting an interference event associated with a portion of the flight route of the UAV during the flight. The method may further include adjusting, during the flight, the channel allocation instructions in response to detecting the interference event. The method may further include providing the adjusted channel allocation instructions to an access point of the radio access network during the flight.

Abstract: Interference mitigation of aerial devices is facilitated on a radio access network. An example method includes receiving, by a processor from a base station of the radio access network, an indication of an interference event associated with the base station, and determining, by the processor, a set of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) associated with the base station during flight of the set, where the interference event is at least partially attributed to each UAV of the set. The method further includes selecting, by the processor, a UAV among the set based on a respective traffic profile associated with each UAV of the set, and providing, by the processor, an instruction to the UAV to cause an adjustment of an operation of the UAV to reduce an interference impact of the UAV on the base station.

Abstract: Crowd sourced data from mobile devices may be used to estimate site locations. In addition, machine learning models may be used to filter out any inaccurate crowd sourced data before using algorithms to estimate the cell site location. An apparatus may include a processor and a memory coupled with the processor that effectuates operations. The operations may include receiving data associated with a location of plurality of devices that have connected with a base station in a geographic area; determining a machine learning model to apply to the received data based on the type of data, wherein the machine learning model is a clustering model; performing the clustering model on the received data; based on the performing the clustering model on the received data, obtaining representative data that excludes outliers in the received data; based on the representative data, determining a location of the base station in the geographic area; and sending a message with the location of the base station.
