    摘要: A projector has a liquid crystal display panel for displaying an image, a lamp for illuminating the liquid crystal display panel, and a projection optical system for projecting light modulated by the image displayed. The lamp is held by a member whose position is variable to allow fitting of different types of lamp. The projector acquires data related to the lamp currently fitted and controls the light emission of the lamp on the basis of that data. The data includes the life of the lamp, so that the projector prevents the lamp to be lit longer than its remaining life. The remaining life is updated in accordance with how long the lamp has been lit. In addition to the lamp that is lit, an auxiliary lamp may be fitted so that the lamp that is lit can be switched to the auxiliary lamp as required. The lamp is formed into a single lamp unit together with a reflector or a casing to prevent the user from touching the lamp. The lamp is accessible for replacement only when it is in a predetermined position, where the lamp is never allowed when hot.

    摘要: An electronic control unit (ECU) includes onboard type electronic components and non-onboard type electronic components inside an aluminum case. The ECU has a circuit board for mounting the onboard type electronic component in a first portion of a bottom surface, and a concavity for installing the non-onboard type electronic components in a second portion of the bottom surface. A resinous frame is provided in the concavity to house and hold the non-onboard type electronic components.

    摘要: A porous multi-layer film favorably employable as a separator film for a nonaqueous electric battery comprises at least three united polyolefin layers, in which at least one polyolefin layer is a polyethylene layer and at least one polyolefin layer is a polypropylene layer which is placed in contact with the polyethylene layer. The polyolefin layers are combined to form a united structure with a peel strength of at least 3 g/15 mm and has a pore volume of 30-80%, a maximum pore size of 0.02-2 .mu.m, a shutdown temperature of 135.degree.-140.degree. C., and a thermal durability to maintain the shutdown condition up to at least 180.degree. C.

    摘要: Disclosure is a vehicle headlamp control system having a control circuit which can control the operation and the intensity of illumination of headlamps with ease. The vehicle headlamp control system has a control circuit for controlling the operations of headlamps on a vehicle at the start of the engine. The control circuit operates to adjust the duty ratios of driving pulse currents applied to the headlamps through transistors, thereby to adjust the intensities of illumination of the headlamps. The control circuit has elements for adjusting the duty ratios. With the system, the intensities of illumination of the headlamps can be adjusted with ease.

    摘要: A deflection yoke for a cathode ray tube comprises a generally tubular core, a first deflection coil assembly including a pair of first deflection coils wound on the core and arranged in symmetrical relationship with each other about the longitudinal axis of the core and operable to deflect electron beams, traveling from an electron gun assembly towards a phosphor-coated screen region, in a horizontal direction, and a second deflection coil assembly generally toroidally wound on the core and operable to deflect the electron beams in a vertical direction. A pair of magnetic members are mounted on the core in opposition to each other and positioned on the imaginary horizontal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the core while spaced 180.degree. from each other about the longitudinal axis of the core. Each of the magnetic members is constituted by a generally elongated body having a pair of legs protruding from the elongated body which legs are spaced from each other in a vertical direction. A magnetizing member for each magnetic member is also provided for developing predetermined poles in the legs of each of the magnetic members.
