Abstract:
A logic device operates with reduced leakage current. Controllability is achieved by using a reference voltage to control the amount of leakage reduction. A method of temperature dependent reference voltage generation is given which maintains virtual supply in acceptable range to provide sufficient noise margin in logic devices including memory cells.
Abstract:
A method and system for creating and managing secure tokens associated with users and assets. The method and system of the present invention provide mechanism for dynamically associating a token with one or more users as owners and one or more assets to track the changes in value of those assets. The monetary value of token is determined using a functional relationship with associated assets. The token can be monetized by users associated with the token as owners in the proportion of their ownership. Monetization of the token represents processing of payments equivalent to the monetary value of the token at the time of monetization.
Abstract:
A method and system for securely processing and managing electronic transactions using one or more electronic currencies. The method and system of the present invention comprise a mechanism for device entities to engage in a financial transaction and process the transaction electronically without being connected to any remote communication link at the time of transaction; any one participating entity of the transaction to submit transaction to a central controller for settlement at any time after the transaction initiation; electronic transaction requiring exchange of electronic currency; electronic currency also being available in physical as well as multiple denominations with localization feature; both electronic transaction and electronic currency to be validated and verified securely through at least one central controller consisting of a central processing unit, operating system software to run the central processing unit and data storage means to identify at least transacting device entities, currency attributes and transaction attributes.
Abstract:
A multiplying digital-to-analog converter suited to maintain impedance balancing during phases. In an embodiment, an input signal may be sampled onto nodes of impedance elements during an initial phase. In a second phase the impedance elements are directly coupled either to a non-inverting reference input or the inverting reference input of an amplifier depending on an output of a related flash ADC output. The determination as to which capacitor is to be coupled to inverting or non-inverting input nodes may be directly programmed into the MDAC using switches, such that a thermometric to binary converter is not required in an example embodiment. Thus, the number of impedance elements coupled to the non-inverting reference input or inverting reference input REFM remains constant in each cycle such that there is no need to settle the non-inverting reference input or inverting reference input to full accuracy.

Abstract:
A technique for reducing the bitline leakage current while maintaining a level of performance characteristics of low threshold voltage transistors in deep submicron CMOS technology incorporates a reference voltage generator circuit in combination with bias transistor MBIAS. The output of a static logic gate is connected to the input terminal of the pull-down devices. The reduction in leakage current through pull-down devices whenever a read operation is not performed contributes to a significant reduction in overall leakage current in the circuit.
Abstract:
A method and system for reducing power consumption in digital circuits using charge redistribution include a plurality of signal lines, an intermediate floating virtual source/sink, and a charge redistribution circuit connected to each signal line that isolates the signal line from its source and connects it to the intermediate floating virtual source/sink during an idle period prior to a change of state. This charge redistribution provides steady state statistical independent advantage due to charge recycling without inserting extra complimentary lines.
Abstract:
A system and method for interactively sharing and synchronizing information by providing controlled information sharing among a plurality of users with different electronic contact types using network-based communication between a plurality of client applications on a plurality of mobile devices and a central controller computer, are described. In an exemplary embodiment, an information context is established and associated with an action initiated by a first client application. A plurality of client applications may then share information within the information context whereby the plurality of client applications participate in the information context based on associated contact information. A method for synchronization allows for shared information on different client devices to be controlled and automatically synchronized by the central controller. Messages, data structures, communications, and protocols between clients and the central controller allowing participant clients to have different permissions and privileges to at least create, update, view and delete information data are described.
Abstract:
Generally, the present disclosure is directed to metal-to-metal sealing systems and methods for use with the various pressure-retaining components, and in particular to pressure-retaining components that may be used in mudline suspension systems. In one illustrative embodiment, a system is disclosed that includes a first pressure-retaining component having an outside face, the outside face including first and second metal sealing surfaces proximate an end of the first pressure-retaining component, wherein the second metal sealing surface is positioned along the outside face between the first metal sealing surface and the end of the first pressure-retaining component. The system further includes, among other things, a second pressure-retaining component having an inside face, the inside face of the second pressure-retaining component including a third metal sealing surface that is adapted to sealingly engage at least the first metal sealing surface.
