A compound of formula (I) wherein R1 and R2 independently of one another are hydrogen, C1-C22alkyl, —O—, —OH, —CH2CN, C1-C18alkoxy, C2-C18alkoxy substituted by —OH; C5-C12cycloalkoxy, C3-C6alkenyl, C3-C6alkenyloxy, C7-C9phenylalkyl unsubstituted or substituted on the phenyl by 1, 2 or 3 C1-C4alkyl; or C1-C8acyl; and R3 and R4 independently of one another are C1-C22alkyl or a group of the formula (Ia) wherein R0 has one of the meanings of R1 and R2.

The invention relates to a composition comprising an organic material susceptible to oxidative, thermal or light-induced degradation and a compound of formula I-P, I-O or I-M. Further embodiments are a compound of formula I-P, I-O or I-M, a process for protection of the organic material by the compound, the use of the compound against degradation of the organic material, an additive composition comprising the compound, a process for manufacturing the compound and an intermediate involved therein.

The invention relates to a compound of the formula (I-1) wherein n is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 or 25, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R′1, R′2, R′3, R′4 and R′5 are each independently from each other H or C1-C8-alkyl. Compounds of the formula (I-1) or stabilizer mixtures containing compounds of the formula (I-1) are especially used for stabilization of polymers against degradation by oxidation, heat or light.

A process for improving the flow properties of a melt containing a thermoplastic polymer, which comprises incorporating 0.005% to 0.5% by weight, relative to the weight of the thermoplastic polymer, of one or more additives selected from the group consisting of organic and inorganic compounds with needle-like morphology in their solid state into said thermoplastic polymer prior to or during melt processing.
