Abstract: A backlight assembly includes a light guide plate, containing a plurality of dots. Each dot includes a first reflecting surface and a second reflecting surface, respectively configured to reflect a first incident light such that reflected light emerges in a first preset direction in a narrow viewing angle mode, and to diffusely reflect a second incident light such that the reflected light emerges dispersedly in a wide viewing angle mode. A first light source can be disposed over a lateral side of the light guide plate and facing the first reflecting surface, to provide the first incident light on the first reflecting surface in the narrow viewing angle mode. A second light source can be disposed over another lateral side of the light guide plate and facing the second reflecting surface to provide the second incident light on the second reflecting surface in the wide viewing angle mode.

The method includes: fabricating a plurality of light emitting units; determining a target group of light emitting units in the plurality of light emitting units based on luminescent characteristics of the plurality of light emitting units, the target group of light emitting units including a portion of light emitting units in the plurality of light emitting units; and disposing at least two light emitting units in the target group of light emitting units on a printed circuit board to obtain the light bar.

Abstract: A display device and a method of controlling the same realizes a virtual reality display and an augmented reality display. The display device includes a transparent display panel, an imaging device disposed at a light-exiting side of the transparent display panel, and a light adjusting cover disposed at a side of the transparent display panel away from the light-exiting side. The transparent display panel is disposed within a focal length of the imaging device. The imaging device is configured to image pictures displayed on the transparent display panel at a side thereof away from the imaging device. The light adjusting cover is switchable between a light-transmitting state and a light-shaded state, and is capable of covering a viewing field of human eyes. The display device can perform the virtual reality display or the augmented reality display.

Abstract: A backlight source includes: an LED light source for emitting a visible light, a light guide plate and an infrared quantum point, wherein the LED light source is arranged on a light incidence side of the light guide plate and the infrared quantum point is arranged on at least one face of the light guide plate. And the infrared quantum point is excited by a part of the visible light emitted from the LED light source to emit an infrared light. The other part of visible light emitted from the LED light source exits uniformly a light exit face of the light guide plate along with the infrared light. The infrared quantum point is arranged on at least one face of the light guide plate other than the light incidence face and the light exit face.
