    摘要： In accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure, the medical device includes a snare member having a proximal portion and a distal portion. The medical device also includes an operating member extending proximally of the snare member. The operating is enabled to extend and retract the snare member from a sheath. The snare member includes a transition portion extending between the proximal portion and the distal portion. The transition portion connects the proximal portion to the distal portion. The distal portion has a different cross-sectional area than the proximal section of the snare member.

    摘要： A medical device for manipulating a tissue is disclosed. The device includes an elongate shaft having a proximal end, a distal end, and a first lumen between the proximal end and the distal end, which has an opening in communication with the first lumen. The elongate shaft further includes a second lumen or aperture disposed in an external surface of the elongate shaft. The device further includes: a support truss, a snare loop, and an actuation member having a distal end. The actuation member is movably disposed within the first lumen. The support truss is configured to be received within the first lumen, second lumen, or aperture such that a proximal end of the support truss is operably connected to the elongate shaft adjacent a proximal portion of the first lumen, second lumen, or aperture. The snare loop has a first portion connected to a distal end of the support truss and a second portion connected to the distal end of the actuation member.

    摘要： A tissue resection device for resecting tissue from a target site within a patient's body. The device includes an elongate shaft having a proximal end and a distal end. An actuation member extends partially through the shaft, and reciprocates within the shaft between a retracted position and an extended position. Multiple snare wires extend through the actuation member, and emerge outwards from a distal portion of the actuation member. The snare wires cooperate and join to form a snare loop, which engages the tissue intended to be resected. The snare loop is configured to enhance friction while engaging the tissue, to resect the tissue.

The endoscope includes a port configured to provide access to the lumen. In addition, the system may include an actuation member slidably disposed through the lumen such that a proximal end of the actuation member extends through the port, and a distal end of the actuation member is operably coupled to an end-effector. The system may further include an actuation handle removably secured to the actuation member. In one embodiment, a portion of the end-effector has dimensions larger than a maximum dimension of the lumen.
