    Abstract: A battery includes a shell, a core and a protection component received in the shell. The core includes a first electrode tab connected to a first current collector and a second electrode tab connected to a second current collector of the core. The protection component includes two insulating layers and a conducting layer disposed between two insulating layers. The conducting layer defines a first end electrically connected to the first electrode tab and a second end configured as a free end, and an outmost current collector of the core is configured by the second current collector.

The battery (100) includes a metal housing (11), a packaging member, and multiple electrode core assemblies (12). The packaging member includes two packaging portions (13) that are arranged opposite to each other. The packaging member has an internal space. The two packaging portions (13) are joined at a predetermined position to divide the internal space of the packaging member into multiple sealed accommodating cavities. At least one sealed accommodating cavity is provided with the electrode core assembly (12). The metal housing (11) is sleeved outside the packaging member.

    Abstract: A battery includes a housing and multiple electrode core assemblies in the housing. The electrode core assemblies are connected. Each electrode core assembly includes an encapsulation film and an electrode core arranged in an accommodating cavity defined by the encapsulation film. An insulating spacer is arranged between two connected electrode core assemblies and has a through hole. The electrode core assembly includes a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode of one electrode core assembly is connected to the second electrode of the other electrode core assembly of the connected two electrode core assemblies at a connecting part accommodated in the through hole. The insulating spacer includes a peripheral surface facing an inner surface of the housing. A metal member is arranged on the peripheral surface of the insulating spacer. The electrode core assemblies are connected to form an electrode core string, and each of the electrode core assemblies includes at least one electrode core. A spacer is disposed between two adjacent electrode core assemblies, the first spacer divides an accommodating space inside the encapsulation film into multiple accommodating cavities, cavity walls of the accommodating cavities includes the first spacer and the encapsulation film connected to the first spacer, and the electrode core assemblies are respectively accommodated in the accommodating cavities. The battery core assembly includes an encapsulation film and an electrode core assembly encapsulated in the encapsulation film. The electrode core assembly includes an electrode core assembly body and two electrode lead-out members of opposite polarities electrically connected to the electrode core assembly body. The electrode core assembly body includes at least two electrode cores connected in parallel. Each of the electrode cores includes an electrode core body and two tabs of opposite polarities that are electrically connected to the electrode core body. The electrode core assembly body further includes a tab support. The two electrode lead-out members are respectively electrically connected to one of the tab supports located two sides of the electrode core assembly body in a first direction.

A thickness of each cell extends along a first direction. The multiple cells are arranged in sequence along the first direction to form the battery sequence. At least one of the cells includes a metal shell and an electrode core packaged in the metal shell. An air pressure inside the metal shell is lower than an air pressure outside the metal shell.
