    摘要： An illustrative gripping accessory or thumb is adapted for use with a machine having a tool, for example, a backhoe bucket attached to an extendable or non-extendable arm of a dipper stick. The accessory or thumb can be releasably attached to the machine and includes a pair of grip members that can be pivotably coupled to the distal pivot pin connecting the bucket and extendable arm and a grip linkage coupled between each grip member and the intermediate pivot coupling the extendable arm and the rotatable linkage coupled to the bucket rotation cylinder. Thus the use of the gripping accessory with a bucket requires no welding or other permanent modification of the machine and can be stowed or removed when not in use.

A mill head extension ring configured to be joined to a rotational mill head is located proximate to and substantially concentric with the inner ring component. The mill head extension includes a second annular sealing surface sealingly engaged with the first annular sealing surface of the flexible pad seal.

    摘要： A head section for a rotary cutting device includes a body portion that includes a blade passage defined between a blade entrance opening and a blade exit opening. A blade fastening mechanism is positioned in the blade passage and includes a blade engaging member. The blade engaging member is biased by a biasing mechanism to extend across the blade passage at a blade install position. The blade engaging member is movable against the bias to clear the blade passage. A blade having a mount aperture proximate an insertion end thereof is secured to the body portion when the mount aperture occupies the blade mount position and the blade engaging member extends through the mount aperture. The blade can be installed in and removed from the head section without tools, simply by advancing the blade through the blade passage.
