Abstract: An orientation detection device obtains a detection information of a sensor that detects a displacement in the vertical direction occurring in the vehicle, computes a pitch angle of the vehicle on the basis of the detection information, obtains a gradient information indicating a gradient of a road on which the vehicle travels, and corrects a correlation between the detection information used in computation and the pitch angle on the basis of the gradient information.

Abstract: A virtual image display device that displays a virtual image by projecting a display light image to a projection area of a vehicle, includes: a low-frequency information acquisition portion that acquires attitude change information of the vehicle at a low-frequency band; a high-frequency information acquisition portion that acquires attitude change information of the vehicle at a high-frequency band; an image renderer that renders image data of the display light image corrected to reduce misalignment attributed to the attitude change at the low-frequency band; a projection optical unit that includes a display surface to display an original image based on the image data, and projects light of the original image as the display light image; and a display controller that displaces the original image to reduce the misalignment of the virtual image attributed to the attitude change at the high-frequency band.

Abstract: An in-vehicle control apparatus performs a hazard avoidance process. The in-vehicle control apparatus includes an anomaly determination section, an alarm control section, and a hazard avoidance control section. The anomaly determination section determines whether a driver is under driving inability state during travel of the vehicle, based on information on monitoring of state of the driver. The alarm control section activates an alarm annunciator to issue an alarm outwardly from the vehicle when the driver is determined to be under driving inability state. After the alarm annunciator starts the alarm, the hazard avoidance control section fails to perform the hazard avoidance process when the alarm is stopped by a manipulation of the driver and performs the hazard avoidance process when a specified time elapses under state where the alarm is not stopped since the starting of the alarm.
