Abstract: An actuator is provided in an actuator housing. Abstract: A brake pedal is operated by a pedal force of a driver. A sensor is capable of detecting a stroke amount of the brake pedal. A brake circuit generates braking force to apply a brake to a vehicle by applying hydraulic pressure to wheel cylinders provided to respective wheels. An electronic control device controls the braking force generated by the brake circuit based on an output signal from the sensor and a state of the vehicle. The electronic control device executes predetermined braking force control under which the braking force generated by the brake circuit is set to be predetermined braking force, when the stroke amount of the brake pedal is between a first threshold and a second threshold larger than the first threshold.

Abstract: A brake device for a brake-by-wire system includes a brake pedal, a sensor, a reaction force generator, and a reaction force changing mechanism. The brake pedal is rotatably mounted on a housing and not mechanically connected to a hydraulic pressure generator. The sensor outputs a signal corresponding to a stroke amount of the brake pedal to an electronic control unit. The reaction force generator has one end connected to the brake pedal and the other end connected to the housing so as to generate a reaction force against a depression force applied to the brake pedal by a driver. The reaction force changing mechanism generates a reaction force against a depression force applied to the brake pedal by the driver, and is able to change a magnitude of the reaction force in advance according to the driver.

Abstract: An accelerator pedal system includes a pedal lever, a lock mechanism, an actuator, and an ECU. The pedal lever operates in accordance with a step-on operation. The lock mechanism is capable of restricting the operation of the pedal lever. The lock mechanism can switch a locked state in which the operation of the pedal lever is restricted by the lock mechanism and an unlocked state in which the operation of the pedal lever is free from restriction by the lock mechanism. The ECU includes a locking operation determination unit, an actuator control unit, and an information acquisition unit. The locking operation determination unit determines switching of a locking operation by the lock mechanism. The actuator control unit controls a driving operation of an actuator. The locking operation determination unit locks the pedal lever when the vehicle is traveling on a specific position in an automatic driving mode.

Abstract: An accelerator device includes a pedal lever, a power transmission mechanism, and a control unit. The pedal lever is movable in response to a pedal depression operation, and is biased in a return direction by a pedal biasing member. The power transmission mechanism includes an actuator lever that is contactable with the pedal lever and is biased in the return direction of the pedal lever by an actuator lever biasing member, and is capable of applying a reaction force to the pedal lever, which is a force in the return direction by a driving force of a drive source via the actuator lever. The control unit controls energization of the drive source, and performs a brake control in which a return speed of the actuator lever is reduced when the pedal lever returns to a fully closed direction.
