    Abstract: A wireless communication device including a communication controller, a transmitter, an antenna and a receiver is provided. The wireless communication device further includes a current detector detecting a current consumption value of a power supply generator, a non-volatile memory pre-storing multiple current thresholds corresponding to multiple operating states, and an abnormal oscillation detector detecting abnormal oscillation by comparing the current consumption value acquired from the current detector and a current threshold corresponding to a present operating state of the wireless communication device out of the current threshold stored in the non-volatile memory.

    Abstract: An inter-vehicle communication system includes: multiple vehicle communication devices for multiple vehicles; and a wireless base station. Each of the multiple vehicle communication devices includes a wide area communication portion that communicates with a different device, a wide area communication control portion that executes a wide area periodic transmission process of multicasting a vehicle information packet towards a different vehicle, a narrow area communication portion, and a narrow area communication control portion that executes a narrow area periodic transmission process of multicasting the vehicle information packet towards the different vehicle. The wide area communication control portion transmits a vehicle status report to the wireless base station. The wide area communication control portion pauses the wide area periodic transmission process. The wireless base station includes an in-cell vehicle management portion that manages position information of a vehicle existing in a charge cell, an encounter determination portion that determines whether a transmission source vehicle has a possibility of encountering the different vehicle, and a device control portion that instructs a transmission source device to pause the wide area periodic transmission process.

    Abstract: A vehicular communication control device includes: a communication packet generator generating a vehicle information packet indicating a vehicle traveling state; a transmission processor transmitting the vehicle information packet to a peripheral vehicle in a predetermined transmission cycle; a road information acquisition unit acquiring forward road information including a road connection point position at which a host vehicle traveling road is connected to another road; and a positional relationship determination unit determining, based on the forward road information, whether a remaining distance to the road connection point is equal to or smaller than a predetermined cycle change distance. The transmission processor: sets a predetermined first cycle as the transmission cycle when the remaining distance is larger than the predetermined cycle change distance; and sets a second cycle shorter than the first cycle as the transmission cycle when the remaining distance is equal to or smaller than the cycle change distance.

    Abstract: A vehicular communication control device includes: a dedicated short range communication processor executing a direct vehicle-to-vehicle communication; a wide area communication processor executing an indirect vehicle-to-vehicle communication; a vehicle data generator, and a peripheral vehicle determination unit determining whether another vehicle is disposed within a predetermined area. The dedicated short range communication processor wirelessly transmits a communication packet including vehicle data in a dedicated short range transmission cycle. The wide area communication processor transmits the communication packet including the vehicle data to a peripheral vehicle in a wide range transmission cycle. The wide area communication processor: selects a first wide area transmission cycle longer than the dedicated short range transmission cycle when no other vehicle is disposed within the area; and selects a second wide area transmission cycle equal to or shorter than the dedicated short range transmission cycle when the other vehicle is disposed within the area.

    Abstract: An antenna system includes a case, an antenna configured for a first communication system, an inside orthogonal antenna configured for a polarization diversity communication system, and an outside orthogonal antenna configured for the polarization diversity communication system.     Abstract: An in-vehicle communication apparatus includes an antenna module, and a wireless communication device physically separated from the antenna module and connected to the antenna module through a coaxial cable. The antenna module includes an antenna, and a transmission amplifier of the antenna.     Abstract: A vehicle-mounted antenna device includes a base, a board, a circuit section, and a housing. The base is mountable on a roof of a vehicle. The board has an antenna element section and is stood on a surface of the base.
