    Abstract: According to one implementation, an image generation system includes a rotor and a motor for spinning the rotor about an axis of rotation, and a display secured to the rotor. The display includes a display surface and a display aperture, a first privacy s screen situated at the display surface and having a convex curvature relative to light emitted from the display surface, and a second privacy screen situated between the first privacy screen and the display aperture and having a concave curvature relative to light emitted from the display surface. The first privacy screen and the second privacy screen are configured to substantially prevent rotational blur of an image displayed by the display surface while the display is spun by the motor and the rotor.

    Abstract: A system for performing an aerial display. The system includes a plurality of UAVs each including a propulsion device and a display payload, and the system includes a ground station system with a processor executing a fleet manager module and memory storing a different flight plan and a set of display controls for the UAVs. Then, wherein, during a display time period, the UAVs concurrently execute the flight plans through operation of the propulsion devices and operate the display payloads based on the display controls. The display payloads each include a lighting assembly and a light controller. The output light is one of a two or more colored light streams, and each of the display payloads further may include a light diffuser with the output light being directed onto a surface of the light diffuser. The light diffuser may include a light diffusing screen extending about the lighting assembly.

    Abstract: An arm wearable apparatus includes a telescoping arrangement having a plurality of sections, a user interface system that removably attaches the telescoping arrangement with an arm of a wearer, and a plurality of illuminable rings. Each ring of the plurality of illuminable rings is attached with a respective section of the plurality of sections and has an inner diameter such that the plurality of illuminable rings form an opening to receive the arm when the telescoping arrangement is in a retracted configuration. At least some of the plurality of illuminable rings are arranged beyond an extent of the arm when the telescoping arrangement is in an extended configuration.

    Abstract: According to one implementation, a multi-perspective image display system includes a motor configured to spin a rotor, a display screen coupled to the rotor, and a controller. The controller is configured to cause the motor to spin the display screen, using the rotor, about an axis of rotation at a spin rate, and to determine, based on the spin rate, an illumination on-time for an illumination source of the display screen. The controller is also configured to sequentially render each of multiple different perspectives of an image on the display screen during each revolution of the display screen about the axis of rotation and, concurrently with sequentially rendering each of the plurality of perspectives of the image on the display screen, to strobe the illumination source of the display screen based on the determined illumination on-time to display the multiple different perspectives of the image.
