    Abstract: The present invention relates to a film having a combination of good flexibility and excellent barrier properties. The film comprises at least one barrier layer. The barrier layer comprises at least 5 percent, by weight of the layer, of an anhydride and/or carboxylic acid functionalized ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer having a density in the range of from 0.855 to 0.900 g/cm3; and having a melt index (190° C./2.16 kg) of greater than 200 g/10 min. The barrier layer further comprises at least 60 percent, by weight of the layer, of an interpolymer derived from ethylene and vinyl alcohol monomer units.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a flexible container (10). In an embodiment, the flexible container includes: a front panel (22), a rear panel (24), a first gusseted side panel (18), and a second gusseted side panel (20). The gusseted side panels adjoin the front panel and the rear panel along peripheral seals (41) to form (i) a top portion, (ii) a body portion, and (iii) a bottom portion. The top portion comprises a neck (27) and a fitment (30) in the neck. The top portion comprises a top handle (12) extending above the fitment, the top handle having a reciprocal attachment member (5). The bottom portion comprises a bottom handle (14) and a tether (6) extending from the bottom handle.     Abstract: The present disclosure provides a flexible container. In an embodiment, the flexible container includes (A) a front panel, a rear panel, a first gusseted side panel, and a second gusseted side panel. The gusseted side panels adjoin the front panel and the rear panel along peripheral seals to form a chamber.     Abstract: The present disclosure provides resins that can be used as a tie layer in a multilayer structure and to multilayer structures comprising one or more tie layers formed from such resins.     Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a bicomponent fiber that includes a first region formed of a condensation polymer and a second region formed from a polypropylene blend. The polypropylene blend includes (i) a propylene-based polymer having a density of 0.895 g/cm3 to 0.920 g/cm3 and a melt index, I2, as determined by ASTM D1238 at 230° C. and 2.16 kg of 0.5 to 150 g/10 minutes; (ii) a maleic anhydride-grafted polypropylene; and (iii) an inorganic Brønsted-Lowry acid having an acid strength pKa value at 25° C. of 1 to 6.5, wherein the polypropylene blend has a 0.03 to 0.3 weight percent of grafted maleic anhydride based on the total weight of the polypropylene blend. The first region is a core region of the bicomponent fiber and the second region is a sheath region of the bicomponent fiber, where the sheath region surrounds the core region.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a support system. In an embodiment, the support system includes a top plate and a base plate. The top plate and the base plate have a common outer perimeter. The support system includes a support structure. The support structure supports the top plate above the base plate. The support system includes a pair of parallel rails. The parallel rails extend from the top plate outer perimeter to a closed end at a center portion of the top plate. The pair of parallel rails defines a channel. The support system includes a protrusion on each respective rail. Each protrusion extends into the channel in mirror-image relation to each other. The protrusions are located a fitment width distance away from the closed end. The protrusions and the closed end together define a filling position.
