Abstract: This light receptacle comprises: first optical surfaces on which light beams emitted from light emitting elements are respectively caused to be incident; second optical surfaces which emit the light beams incident on first optical surfaces respectively toward the end faces of light transmission bodies; a third optical surface which reflects the light beams incident on the first optical surfaces toward the second optical surfaces; and recesses which are formed in the surface on which second optical surfaces are arranged. The distance between the centers of two adjacent first optical surfaces before mold release and the distance between the centers of two adjacent second optical surfaces before mold release during injection molding are shorter than the distance between the optical axes of light beams emitted from two adjacent light emitting elements that are arranged so as to face each other.

Abstract: Provided is an optical receptacle capable of maintaining high optical coupling efficiency even when an optical transmission body having a large core end surface is used. An optical receptacle according to the present invention has: an optical receptacle body; and a filter. The optical receptacle body includes a first optical surface; a second optical surface; a third optical surface; and a reflection surface. The filter includes a first filter surface for reflecting light of a first wavelength while transmitting light of a second wavelength, and a second filter surface for reflecting the light of the second wavelength while transmitting the light of the first wavelength. The filter is disposed on the optical receptacle body so that the first filter surface or the second filter surface is closely attached to the reflection surface.

Abstract: A flow rate measurement device includes a channel; a flow detection part disposed at the channel, the flow detection part including an impeller configured to be rotated by a flow of the fluid and a reflection part disposed at the impeller and configured to reflect light; a light source configured to emit light toward the reflection part; and a detection part configured to receive light emitted from the light source and reflected by the reflection part. A width of a detection surface of the detection part intermittently or continuously changes in a movement direction of the reflection part along with rotation of the impeller as viewed in a direction orthogonal to a rotation axis of the impeller, or a width of a reflection surface of the reflection part intermittently or continuously changes in a rotational direction of the impeller.

Abstract: Provided is an optical module having a substrate, a photoelectric conversion element, an optical receptacle, a support member, and a ferrule. The optical receptacle optically couples the photoelectric conversion element disposed on the substrate and an end face of a light transmission body. The support member supports the optical receptacle in a state where the substrate and the optical receptacle are separated from each other. The ferrule is bonded to the support member in a state where the ferrule is separated from a surface of the optical receptacle on which the optical surface opposing the ferrule is disposed, and the ferrule is not bonded to the optical receptacle.

Abstract: Provided is an optical receptacle (140) having an installation plane (141), an optical plane, and a reference plane (147). An inclination angle of the reference plane (147) with respect to the installation plane (141) is smaller than an inclination angle of the optical plane with respect to the installation plane (141). Then, a first inclination angle θ1 that is the inclination angle of the reference plane (147) with respect to the installation plane (141) and a second inclination angle θ2 that is an inclination angle of the optical plane with respect to the reference plane (147) are measured. Then, the first inclination angle θ1 is added to the second inclination angle θ2 to calculate a third inclination angle θ3 that is the inclination angle of the optical plane with respect to the installation plane (141).

Abstract: An optical receptacle capable of demultiplexing an optical signals to be transmitted and received without needing to place an optical functional member on an inclined surface and without needing to use an index-matching material is provided. The optical receptacle comprises: an optical splitter that allows transmitted light entering the optical receptacle from a light-emitting element to proceed to the emission surface toward an optical transmitter, and allows received light entering therein from the optical transmitter to proceed to the emission surface toward a light receiving element; and a light attenuation member for attenuating the received light reaching the light-emitting element from the optical splitter. The optical splitter is formed as an optical surface that includes a fourth optical surface and a fifth optical surface inclined relative to the fourth optical surface. The fourth optical surface is arranged at an angle that allows part of the transmitted light that enters the optical receptacle and reaches the optical splitter to proceed to the second optical surface, and the fifth optical surface is arranged at an angle that allows part of the received light that enters the optical receptacle and reaches the optical splitter to proceed to the third optical surface.

Abstract: This optical receptacle comprises: a first optical surface through which light from a photoelectric conversion element is incident; a second optical surface through which the incident light is emitted to the optical transmitter side; an optical separation part which separates the incident light into monitor light that goes to a detection element and signal light that goes to the optical transmitter; and a third optical surface through which the monitor light is emitted to the detection element side. The securing part secures the optical transmitter such that the signal light from the second optical surface arrives at the end surface of the optical transmitter at a position farther than the focus of the second optical surface. The light flux diameter in the light separation part of the light incident through the second optical surface is smaller than the light flux diameter of the light in the second optical surface.
