A system and method for managing jobs are provided. A job manager is operable to normalize a command submitted by a user. The job manager then executes a first job associated with a first operating environment in response to the normalized command and executes a second job associated with a second operating environment in response to the normalized command. The first operating environment and the second operating environment are heterogeneous.

A method and system for accumulating stillness characteristics is presented. The method and system generates field stillness characteristics for a current pixel of a current field. The field stillness characteristic is accumulated with an accumulated stillness characteristic that corresponds to a pixel location of the current pixel. The accumulated stillness characteristic includes stillness information regarding previous pixels of previous fields in the same pixel location as the current pixel.

After processing a field pixels that were modified are stored in the field so that processing of later fields uses the modified pixels. Furthermore, the system uses novel still pixel detection routines that include multiple thresholds and multiple windows of pixels so that noise reduction is only performed on still pixels.

An IC package architecture and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. By this packaging method, a molded compound is first formed, which covers the entire packaging area of the leadframe but leaving a window to expose the area where the chip is to be mounted. After the chip is mounted and wire bonded, a dispensed compound is formed the window to enclose the chip therein. The dispensing material can be variably selected by the manufacturer in accordance with actual application requirements. For instance, the dispensing material can be either a transparent material to allow the enclosed chip to be transparent to the outside, or a colored material for some prespecified identification purpose of the IC package. Moreover, the packaging method can be utilized on current types of IC packages and can be realized by using existing equipment and processes in a cost-effective manner without having to invest on new additional ones.

An exercise apparatus comprising a bench and a dorsal support, wherein the apparatus further comprises a movable upper torso support, wherein the apparatus is suitable to support the lower torso of a user by means of the bench and the dorsal support and that portions of the upper torso of the user can be lifted relative to the lower torso by the movable upper torso support. In another aspect, the invention relates to a method of exercising the upper torso by providing an apparatus which supports the lower torso and which is suitable to guide a force exerted by a user's legs to the upper torso of a user and uses this force to induce a stretching motion of a portion of the upper torso relative to the lower torso of a user.
