Moreover, the method includes processing information associated with the first statistical distribution and the second statistical distribution, and determining an indicator. Also, the method includes processing information associated with the indicator, determining a confidence level, processing information associated with the confidence level, and determining whether the first yield and the second yield are similar.
Abstract:
A method and system for reliability similarity of semiconductor devices. The method includes providing a first plurality of semiconductor devices, providing a second plurality of semiconductor devices, and determining a first reliability associated with the first plurality of semiconductor devices. The first reliability is represented by at least a first probability density function. Additionally, the method includes determining a second reliability associated with the second plurality of semiconductor devices. The second reliability is represented by at least a second probability density function. Moreover, the method includes processing information associated with the first probability density function and the second probability density function, and determining a numerical number based on at least information associated with the first probability density function and the second probability density function. The numerical number is indicative of similarity between the first reliability and the second reliability.
Abstract:
An apparatus is described comprising an ingress port and a plurality of switch planes where each of the switch planes has a dedicated scheduler and each of the switch planes are communicatively coupled to the ingress port. The switch planes may further have at least one input control port and at least one output control port where each of the input control ports are coupled to each of the output control ports in a crossbar arrangement. The communicative coupling may further comprise one of the input control ports coupled to the ingress port. Furthermore, the ingress port may have at least one unicast queue which is dedicated to a specific egress port. The ingress port may also have a multicast queue. The dedicated scheduler may further comprise a pointer to determine priority between multicast and unicast traffic, a pointer to determine priority between contending input control ports having multicast traffic and/or a pointer for each of the output control ports to determine priority between contending input control ports having unicast traffic. The apparatus may also further comprise a plurality of ingress ports where each of the ingress ports are communicatively coupled to one of each of the input control ports.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transporting digital images is provided. In one embodiment, a personal electronic handheld digital camera executes an application program that enables a user of the camera to send one or more digital images, formed by and stored in the camera, from the camera to a destination. One or more addresses describing one or more destinations are selected or identified. One or more stored digital images are selected and associated with the one or more addresses. Optionally, a voice message is recorded and associated with the one or more addresses. The camera is coupled to a data communication network, and a transport operation is initiated. Under control of the application, the camera sends the selected images to the designated destinations over the data communication network. When an address is a physical address, for example, a postal mail address, the selected images are automatically routed to a central server. At the central server, tangible copies of the selected images are printed, packaged, and sent to the physical address. Each image may be marked with an authentication stamp that uniquely identifies the image or the camera that created the image, guarding against unauthorized alteration.
Abstract:
A monitoring system capable of being operationalized. Power consumption in electrical devices is monitored by the use of new and innovative consumption power monitoring device in accordance with the present invention. Power consumption information is collected by an intelligent power hub that is communicatively coupled to a remote server that presents overall power usage displays. A method of operationalizing a power usage monitoring system comprises powering up an energy pump device when the energy pump device is plugged into a first power socket, setting the energy pump device automatically to a SET mode to acquire new monitoring devices, and discovering the presence of a power consumption monitoring device.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a component architecture platform (CAP) framework that provides a mechanism to update firmware, drivers, and/or application software in an embedded system, such as in mobile electronic devices. The framework also facilitates access to generated update packages by the embedded system and provides updates to firmware, drivers, content or application software in a fault tolerant mode. Generation of update packages is more efficient and the update packages employing CAP are more compact than prior solutions. A distributed version of CAP, (DCAP), also provides access to functionality or components located at remote locations on other platforms.
Abstract:
An album includes a front cover panel, a back cover panel, and a spine panel extending between the front and the back cover panels edge-to-edge. A folding arrangement, which couples between a last album page and the back cover panel, includes a flexible sheet having two longitudinal edges coupling at an outer side of last album page and an inner side of the back cover panel to retain the last album page being overlapped on the back cover panel in a slidably movable manner. When the album is folded at an opened position, the front cover panel, the spine panel, and the back cover panel are aligned to form a planer backing for providing a completely plane on the surface of the album.
Abstract:
A system and method for using a single shared buffer to service multiple destinations for a telecommunications switch is disclosed. Upon receiving a cell of data to be sent to a destination, an interface stores the cell in a shared buffer. The address of the cell in the buffer is stored in a queue array. The address of the buffer address in the queue array is stored in a head array and a tail array. A threshold register tracks the global threshold for the total number of cells in the shared buffer and a destination threshold for each destination. The buffer can broadcast a data cell to a single location or send the same cell to multiple locations.
