摘要： A multicolor transfer heat-sensitive recording apparatus for thermally transfer-recording images onto a recording paper 1, comprises a first and a second thermal head for selectively heating ink donor sheets of different color, first and second drive feed units for drivingly feeding the recording paper and the ink donor sheets and a pulse generator for feeding pulses to the first and second drive feed units. The first and second drive feed units include first and second backing rollers, first and second stepping motors (such as synchronous inductor motors) drivingly connected to the backing rollers and first and second drivers for driving the stepping motors, respectively. The pulse generator simultaneously feeds for a predetermined duration a single pulse to the first driver for driving the first roller and a number of pulses to the second driver for driving the second roller. The number of pulses to the second driver being adjustable to possibly reduce a recording displacement due to dimensional differences of the rollers attendant to the first and the second thermal head.

摘要： A method and apparatus for correcting the photoelectric converter of a document reading unit for non-linearities produced by the optics of the system. A test document having no image data thereon is scanned to produce a shade correction signal which is subjected to A/D conversion and stored in a memory. In binary-encoding the picture data of the original, a switch is operated according to the data stored in the memory so as to change a threshold level for the picture signal, whereby digital picture data whose shading has been corrected is obtained. In the case where the picture data of the original are represented by an analog signal, the picture data are also subjected to A/D conversion, and division is carried out with the data stored in the memory being employed as dividends. From the results of such a division, corrected multi-level picture data is obtained.

摘要： A color copying machine includes a device separating the image information from each area of the original into colors corresponding to predetermined recording colors to thereby form corresponding video signals. A preferential selection circuit converts each video signal into a 2-level signal and performs an arithmetic operation on each 2-level signal to thereby key the image information from each area of the original to one of the recording colors or white. Black is selected as the recording color if a chromatic color competes with black in the same area.

摘要： A method and apparatus for controlling the phase of a system clock, in which one of a first clock signal and a second clock signal is selected and output to a system as a system clock signal, the first clock signal being generated by a frequency synthesizer synchronized with an external clock signal supplied from a reference clock signal oscillator provided externally of the system, and the second clock signal being supplied from another reference clock signal oscillator provided internally of the system, and the phases of the first and second clock signals are controlled, prior to switching between the first and second clock signals and supplying the switched clock signal to the system as the system clock signal. The switching is delayed for a period while there is a phase shift between the first and second clock signal , when the system clock signal is switched between the first and second clock signal.

摘要： A multi-function copying machine having a reading section for reading picture data on an original by raster scanning. A recording section has a plurality of recording devices adapted to perform recording at different recording positions. The recording section applies to the recording devices a picture signal for each color for multi-color recording or a picture signal for each side of the original for two-side recording. Recording control is achieved by a control system for controlling the timing of delivery of the picture signal applied to the recording devices. An editing control circuit sets the timing of delivery of a part of the picture signal provided by the reading section to the recording section, for editing the picture data on the original. A memory delays the timing of delivery of a predetermined picture signal to the recording section according to the timing of delivery set by the control system.
