The present invention provides an inter-frequency neighboring cell proximity detection method, an inter-frequency neighboring cell measurement method, a radio network controller, and user equipment. In this method, a signal of an intra-frequency cell of a current serving cell of a user equipment is measured, a measurement result is compared with proximity detection information of an inter-frequency neighboring cell, and reporting may be performed when the information is met.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method includes: receiving, by a base station, a long DRX parameter sent by an RNC, where the long DRX parameter includes at least two of a cycle length of a long DRX cycle, a long DRX on length and a long DRX off length; determining, when the UE enters the CELL-FACH state, by the base station, and according to a first timer and a first preset duration corresponding to the first timer, that the UE enters the long DRX cycle; and determining, when the UE enters the long DRX cycle, by the base station, and according to the H-RNTI of the UE, the cycle length of the long DRX cycle and the long DRX on length, a radio subframe on which long DRX on of the UE is in the long DRX cycle.

The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for obtaining terminal minimization of drive-tests data, relates to the field of communication technologies, and solves a problem that when determining, according to minimization of drive-tests (MDT) data, that a current operating status of a network is abnormal, an operation, maintenance and administration (OAM) cannot accurately determine whether the abnormality of the network is caused by a terminal or the network itself since the MDT data received by the OAM does not include an identity of the terminal. The method includes: obtaining MDT data measured by a terminal and an identity of the terminal; and reporting the MDT data measured by the terminal and the identity of the terminal to an OAM. Embodiments of the present invention are mainly applied to a process of obtaining terminal minimization of drive-tests data.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a device for synchronizing an uplink ciphering parameter in unacknowledged mode. The method for synchronizing an uplink ciphering parameter in unacknowledged mode includes: sending an indication message to a terminal when detecting that an unrecoverable error occurs in an uplink packet or that the uplink packet is invalid, where the indication message is used to instruct the terminal to initialize an uplink ciphering parameter; receiving a response message sent by the terminal; and initializing the uplink ciphering parameter according to an initial value of the ciphering parameter. The embodiments of the present invention solve a service defect, namely, a break of the communication link caused by synchronization of an uplink ciphering parameter between the terminal and the radio network controller in unacknowledged mode, and shorten the time of synchronizing the uplink ciphering parameter without interrupting the service.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a channel configuration method, including generating, by a network side device, channel configuration information, where the channel configuration information is used to configure a downlink fractional-dedicated physical channel F-DPCH and a downlink dedicated physical channel DPCH in a code division manner. The downlink F-DPCH is used for transmission of transmit power control TPC information, and the downlink DPCH is used for transmission of data information. The method includes sending, by the network side device, the channel configuration information to user equipment (UE), so that the UE receives the downlink F-DPCH and the downlink DPCH according to the channel configuration information.

The present invention provides a method for processing channel access and an apparatus thereof. The method includes: receiving a fallback to physical random access channel (PRACH) indication sent by a base station; and initiating access on a common enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH). In the present invention, a fallback to PRACH indication is not executed, so as to prevent a user terminal from being in a DRX off state when a base station sends downlink data to the UE, thereby preventing the base station from delaying sending the downlink data to the UE.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for processing service and apparatus, relating to the field of communication technologies, and invented for effectively reducing signaling interactions and optimizing the performance of a communication system. The method for processing service includes: receiving a packet data protocol PDP deactivation request message or a signaling connection release indication SCRI message sent from a user equipment; and maintaining a bearer corresponding to the user equipment. The present invention may be used in global systems for mobile communications and long term evolution communication systems.

A method and a device for updating a coordinated multipoint (CoMP) transmission set are provided by the embodiments of the present invention. The embodiments of the present invention can update the CoMP transmission set, and adjust the CoMP coordinated cells flexibly, which is conducive to further improving the overall performance of the cell and the performance of the users at the edge of the cell.
