    摘要: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for generating a PDU and a base station thereof. The method for generating a PDU includes: segmenting an input SDU into at least one segmentation in such a manner that the at least one segmentation is distributed in at least one PDU; and setting an offset field and at least one length indicator field in a header of each PDU, wherein the offset field indicates an offset of a first segmentation of a first new SDU appearing in the PDU, and the length indicator field indicates the end of the new SDU or the segmentation of the new to SDU in the PDU. With the present invention, since a single SDU is indicated only using one LI even if it is segmented into a plurality of segmentations, and the LI indicates the end of SDU in one PDU, it is ensured that an eNB in the SFN can recover packets in case of multiple packets loss while avoiding de-synchronization during the contents transmission.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method of receiving a multimedia broadcast/multicast service in a user equipment of a wireless communication system based on MBSFN transmission and a method of assisting the user equipment to receive the service in the corresponding base station; wherein the user equipment receives a transport block from the base station in a predefined period; and then judges whether a notification indicator in the transport block is activated, if so, then judges whether a service identification of a multimedia broadcast/multicast service subscribed to by the user equipment is included in a transport block including a control signaling in the transport block, if so, then receives the multimedia broadcast/multicast service. By implementing the present invention, a user terminal in IDLE mode only needs a predefined period such as a DRX period to wake up to receive the notification indicator to judge whether a new service will start without waking up at extra time.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a gateway, base station and method for window-based content synchronization technology. The gateway according the present invention comprises; a receiving unit for receiving a data packet; a window counting unit for counting the data packet, such that a predetermined number of packets forms a window, the number being a window size; a sequence number counting unit for generating a sequence number of the packet; a timestamp setting unit for setting a timestamp for the packet; and a processing unit for including the generated sequence number, the timestamp and a byte count in the packet to be transmitted. The base station according to the present invention comprises: a receiving unit for receiving a data packet; an information extracting unit for extracting a sequence number, a timestamp and byte count information from the data packet; a window counting unit for counting the received packets based on the extracted sequence number so as to form a window; and a processing unit for setting an anticipated air interface transmission time for the packets in the current window based on the extracted timestamp. The gateway or base station according to the present invention operates well with statistical multiplexing and has an improved overall performance in terms of synchronization processing delay and control packets load.

Thus, the present invention may avoid misunderstanding caused by signaling processing from the EPC to EUTRAN in a radio access network.

    摘要: A method for providing a multicast service in a communication system and an apparatus for implementing the method are provided in the present invention. The communication system comprises at least one user equipment and a server for providing a service to the at least one user equipment. The method comprises steps of: determining, by the server, an MBMS multicast group to provide a multicast service; transmitting, by the server, MBMS service control information required to provide an MBMS service to user equipments within the MBMS multicast group, to a BM-SC in an e-MBMS network; determining, by the BM-SC, an MBMS service area and triggering in the MBMS service area an MBMS bearer setup procedure for user equipments within the MBMS multicast group, based on the received MBMS service control information; forwarding, by the server, data to provide a service to the BM-SC; and distributing, by the BM-SC, the data to each of the user equipments within the MBMS multicast group, via the set up MBMS bearer. The method according to the present invention enables to perform multicast within an MBMS multicast group in case that the multicast is not supported by a radio network.

    摘要: The invention proposes a technical scheme for controlling downlink data synchronization in an eMBMS transmission in a radio link control entity in a base station. By determining one length indicator for each service data unit, and meanwhile, each length indicator corresponds to one extension bit, the length indicator and the extension bit of each RLC SDU are byte aligned, and the base station generates different length indicators for the service data units with the different length distribution. By adopting the technical scheme of the invention, the corresponding radio link control header overhead thereof is fixed for each service data unit, and therefore, even in the case where a consecutive packet loss occurs in the service data unit received by a certain base station, synchronization between it and other base stations receiving correctly can still be achieved.
