Abstract: The present disclosure includes a white ink composition including a liquid vehicle with water and organic co-solvent, from 0.5 wt % to 15 wt % white metal oxide particles dispersed in the liquid vehicle, and from 0.1 wt % to 30 wt % of polyurethane particles dispersed in the liquid vehicle. The polyurethane particles include a polyurethane polymer with polymerized sulfonated-diamines, polymerized nonionic diamines, and isocyanate-generated self-crosslinked amines.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes ink compositions having a polyurethane binder that can be used for textile printing. In one example, an ink composition can include water, an organic co-solvent, a colorant, and a polyurethane binder. The polyurethane binder can include pre-polymer segments that include polymerized monomers of a diisocyanate, a graft diol, a polymeric diol, and an acid-containing diol. The graft diol can include thioglycerol having a polymer sidechain replacing a hydrogen atom on a sulfur atom of the thioglycerol. The polymer sidechain can include a polymerized monomer of an acrylate ester, a methacrylate ester, a styrene, or a combination thereof. The polyurethane binder can also include chain extenders connecting the pre-polymer segments. The chain extenders can include a polymerized sulfonate-containing diamine.

The latex binder particles include: a single copolymer phase including a first carboxylic acid functional monomer and a first (meth)acrylamide functional monomer; or multiple non-crosslinked copolymer phases including at least a first copolymer phase and a second copolymer phase, wherein the latex binder particles include a second carboxylic acid functional monomer in at least one of the first and second copolymer phases and a second (meth)acrylamide functional monomer in at least one of the first and second copolymer phases.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an inkjet composition comprising a curable polyurethane dispersion and an aqueous carrier. Abstract: The present disclosure is drawn to polyurethane dispersions. In one example, a polyurethane dispersion can include a polyurethane with a polymeric ionic side chain and a polymeric non-ionic side chain. The polyurethane can be formed of polymerized monomers including a diisocyanate, a first polymeric diol, and a second polymeric diol. The first polymeric diol can include a first polymer chain replacing a hydrogen atom of a thiol group of a 1-thioglycerol molecule. The first polymer chain can include a block of a polymerized ionic group-containing vinyl monomer. The second polymeric diol can include a second polymer chain replacing a hydrogen atom of a thiol group of a 1-thioglycerol molecule. The second polymer chain can include a block of a polymerized non-ionic vinyl monomer, and the second polymer chain can be devoid of ionic groups.

Abstract: A method for forming a surface-enhanced fluorescence spectroscopy (SEFS) apparatus may include depositing a plurality of surface-enhanced spectroscopy (SES) elements onto respective tips of a plurality of nano-fingers, wherein the nano-fingers are arranged in sufficiently close proximities to each other to enable the tips of a group of adjacent nano-fingers to come into sufficiently close proximities to each other to enable the SES elements on the tips to trap fluorescent probe molecules that are to bind with target molecules when the nano-fingers are partially collapsed.
