摘要: A thermosetting resin composition comprising compounds (A) an alkenyl-substituted nadimide, (B) a compound having at least one vinyl group or cyclic olefin, or both and (C) a phenol resin, and optionally (D) at least one polymerization catalyst selected from the group consisting of organic peroxides, onium salts, and cationic catalysts is disclosed. The components contained in the composition exhibit excellent compatibility among them. The cured product obtained from the thermosetting resin composition has superior anti-hygroscopicity and toughness, without impairing excellent heat resistance, electrical characteristics, mechanical strength, and small molding shrinkage inherently possessed by alkenyl-substituted nadimide resin. The composition is useful not only as a laminating material, a casting material, a molding material, a coating material, a paint, an adhesive, a sealing material, etc., but also as a matrix resin for composite materials.

摘要: A focusing lens 24 is held with a holder 27. A mounting plate 28, and a coupling plate 29 are provided between the holder 27 and the base member 26 of an optical system 10. In one of three combinations of the holder 27 and the mounting plate 28, the latter 28 and the coupling plate 29, and the latter 29 and the base member 26, those forming the combination are set in such a manner as to be movable relative to each other for adjustment of the length of an optical path of the focusing lens; in another of the three combinations, those forming the combination are set in such a manner that the components are movable relative to each other for adjustment of the optical axis of the focusing lens; and in the remaining combination, those forming the remaining combination are fixed in such a manner as to be movable relative to each other for adjustment of the resolving power balance of the focusing lens.

摘要: A liquid-gas contactor which comprises a first liquid-gas contacting region of which the lower part is provided with a gas inlet and the upper part is provided with a liquid feed inlet and a second region through which flows a gaseous fluid comprised of particles of at least a portion of the liquid fed into said first contacting region suspended in the greater part of the gas supplied through the gas inlet. The first and second regions are interconnected in the form of an inverted U-shape, the bottom ends of both regions opening into a liquid tank and at least the bottom end of the first liquid-gas contacting region being submerged in the liquid in the tank. A liquid-gas contact process employs this contactor.
