    摘要: There are provided a curable resin composition composed of an epoxy compound having an ionic polymerizability and viscosity of not more than 1,000 cP at 25° C., an acrylic resin having an ionic polymerizable functional group, and a thermally-activating ionic polymerization catalyst which can be dissolved by heating and crystallized by cooling, a method for the preparation thereof, and a coated article using the curable resin composition.The curable resin composition is excellent in storage stability, and a cured coating layer therefrom is excellent in heat resistance, staining resistance, removability of staining substances, or scratch resistance, and an electrical insulating property, and in which dependence of volume resistivity upon temperatures is small, and from which an excellent coated article is obtained, and it is widely utilized in industry.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photosensitive member is formed of a support, and a photosensitive layer disposed on the support. The photosensitive layer is characterized by containing an azo pigment having an organic group represented by formula (1) below: wherein A denotes a residue group of formula (1A) below: ##STR1## and k.sub.1, k.sub.2, Z.sub.1, Z.sub.2, D; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are defined in the text. The group of the formula (1) may provide at least one of up to 4 azo-substituents of the azo pigment having an entire structure represented by ##STR2## wherein Ar denotes an aromatic or heterocyclic core unit, Cp denotes a coupler residue group, and --(N.dbd.N--Cp) denotes such an azo-substituent. The photosensitive member can exhibit good electrophotographic performances including high and stable sensitivity on repetitive use.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photosensitive member is constituted by disposing a photosensitive layer on a support. The photosensitive layer contains oxytitanium phthalocyanine and a specific disazo pigment of the formula (I) or (II) each characterized by having particular coupler residues. The photosensitive layer may preferably include a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer. The charge generation layer may preferably include a first charge generation layer containing the above disazo pigment of the formula (I) or (II) and a second charge generation layer containing the above oxytitanium phthalocyanine. The electrophotographic photosensitive member including the photosensitive layer described above is usable for providing an apparatus unit and an electrophotographic apparatus showing excellent electrophotographic characteristics such as high photosensitivity, good potential stability in repetitive use and good image-forming properties substantially providing no black spots.

    摘要: A high-purity cycloaliphatic diepoxy compound of General Formula (II) is an epoxidized product of a cycloaliphatic diolefinic compound of General Formula (I) having an isomer content as detected in gas chromatography (GC) of 15% or less: wherein X represents a bivalent group selected from the group consisting of, for example, O, S, —SO—, —SO2—, —CH2—, and —C(CH3)2—; and R1 to R18 may be the same as or different from each other and each represent hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydrocarbon group which may contain oxygen atom or a halogen atom, or an alkoxy group which may be substituted. Such a high-purity cycloaliphatic diepoxy compound is prepared by producing the cycloaliphatic diolefinic compound through distillation, epoxidizing the compound with an aliphatic percarboxylic acid containing substantially no water, carrying out desolvation, and further purifying the epoxidized compound through distillation.

The mechanical brake actuator comprises the strut (23) which engages with one brake shoe (12) and has two facing plates (23b) with a strut-bridge (23a) connecting therebetween and the plate-like brake lever (24) which engages with the other brake shoe (13). The brake lever (24) is retained in the space (23c) between the facing strut plates and is pivotally supported on the strut (23), and the inner cable (41) of the brake cable (40) connected to the free end (24e) of the brake lever (24) via the connecting pin (43). The mechanical brake actuator which is operated by pulling the inner cable (41) comprises the clip (30), which attaches to the strut-bridge (23a) and restricts the rotation of the brake lever (24) in the cable releasing direction.
