摘要： In transmitting the analog video signal via a coaxial cable, a transmission apparatus side is not provided with an emphasis characteristic which is the inverse to the frequency attenuation characteristic of the coaxial cable. In stead, an emphasis is applied by a preemphasis circuit on the transmission side, on the basis of an emphasis curve of a frequency band characteristic curve having an inverse characteristic to a frequency band characteristic curve of a detected signal which is obtained when transmitting a modulated signal without a preemphasis to the coaxial cable and conducting synchronous detection on a receiving apparatus side by using an oscillation frequency having the same frequency as that of a carrier used at the time of modulation.

摘要： A conveying belt having a belt body with oppositely facing inner and outer surfaces and a width between laterally spaced sides. The belt body has a first layer, with the first layer being an elastomer with a first plurality of discrete fibers therein having lengths substantially less than the width of the body. The lengths of the fibers in a second plurality of fibers in the first plurality of fibers are randomly oriented and reside substantially in a single plane. The invention is also directed to a method of making the conveying belt.

摘要： A signal-recording-and-reproducing portion records an image signal DVb of a variable frame-rate picked-up image generated by an image signal generation portion. When instructed to reproduce the image signal, the recorded signal is reproduced and supplied to a frame rate conversion portion as an image signal DVr. The frame rate conversion portion converts the image signals DVb and DVr to a display frame rate and supplies them to a monitor image signal generation portion as image signals DVb′ and DVr′. The monitor image signal generation portion then generates a monitor image displaying images based on the image signals DVb′ and DVr′ on a screen. An adjustment of the frame rate referring to reproduced image displayed together with an image that is being shot allows an image signal to be easily generated so that a motion of a subject can be matched to a desired speed at the reproduction thereof.

摘要： A data transmission apparatus applicable to transmission of data by the use of a cable of a television camera system or the like and capable of ensuring simplified exact demodulation of data transmitted through quadrature modulation. The apparatus comprises a demodulator for outputting detection signals of the quadrature-modulated signal based on reference signals whose phases are each different by a predetermined value from an I-axis reference signal and a Q-axis reference signal in the quadrature modulation; a signal level corrector for correcting the signal levels of the detection signals; and a signal converter for converting the output signals of the signal level corrector to detection signals based on the I-axis and Q-axis reference signals. An equalizer circuit is further included in the apparatus for adaptively equalizing the output signals of the signal converter or the output signals of the signal level corrector. The quadrature-modulated signal is inputted via a coaxial cable, and the above predetermined value of the phase difference is an angle of 45 degrees.
