The fuel injection valve also includes a movable element that is configured to be attracted to the inner fixed iron core and the outer fixed iron core, wherein the movable element is configured to be separable from the valve body and is configured to move the valve body.

Abstract: A method of controlling a fuel injection device that can control a small amount of injection is provided. A fuel injection device for use in an internal combustion engine, includes: a valve body that can open and close a fuel passage, a needle that transfers a force with the valve body, and executes valve opening/closing operation, and an electromagnet that includes a coil and a magnetic core provided as a driver for driving the needle, and a cylindrical nozzle holder disposed on an outer periphery of the magnetic core and the needle, in which a current is supplied to the coil to exert a magnetic attractive force between the magnetic core and the needle to open the valve body.

Abstract: A fuel injection valve having a variable stroke mechanism is constructed. A valve body provided to be slidable; a first movable element for cooperating with the valve body; an inner fixed iron core provided at a position to oppose a second movable element; an outer fixed iron core; and a coil are included. A lift amount of the second movable element is set larger than a lift amount of the first movable element, and a portion of the second movable element is projected into the first movable element. Abstract: Provided is a control device of a fuel injection device which can stabilize a behavior of a valve even when a voltage of a voltage source varies, and can reduce a deviation of an injection amount. The fuel injection device includes a valve and a coil which generates a magnetic attraction force to attract a movable element which drives the valve. A control device applies a predetermined voltage to the coil on the basis of an injection pulse, causes a drive current to flow to the coil until the drive current reaches a maximum current, drives the valve by attracting the movable element, and injects fuel. The drive current flowing to the coil is lowered from the maximum current before the valve reaches a desired maximum lift position, and a constant voltage lower than a predetermined voltage or 0 V is continuously applied to the coil until the valve reaches the desired maximum lift position.

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to detect variations between the quantities of fuel injected into cylinders by fuel injection devices and correct the fuel injection quantity variation while minimizing the computational load on a drive device and the level of performance required of a pressure sensor. A drive device for fuel injection devices according to the present invention performs control wherein movable valves are driven so that predetermined quantities of fuel are injected by applying, for the duration of a set energization time, a current that will reach an energization current to solenoids of a plurality of fuel injection devices which open/close fuel flow paths. The drive device is characterized in that the set energization time or energization current is corrected on the basis of a pressure detection value from a pressure sensor that is attached to a fuel supply pipe disposed upstream of the plurality of fuel injection devices.

Each computation device comprises: an estimation unit that, before the initial fuel injection in a combustion cycle, estimates the second voltage for all of the fuel injection times in the combustion cycle; and a correction unit that corrects the amount of fuel injected for each fuel injection time depending on the estimated second voltage.
