Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus comprises a network interface and a processor. The processor is to: receive, via the network interface, a plurality of data streams to be routed over a network, wherein the plurality of data streams correspond to sensor data captured by a plurality of sensors; identify, from the plurality of data streams, a set of related data streams that are contextually related; identify a convergence function to be performed on the set of related data streams, wherein the convergence function is for transforming the set of related data streams into a converged data stream that is smaller in size than the set of related data streams; perform the convergence function to transform the set of related data streams into the converged data stream; and route, via the network interface, the converged data stream to one or more corresponding destinations over the network.

Abstract: System and techniques for enhanced electronic navigation maps for a vehicle are described herein. A set of map tiles may be received at a vehicle component from a remote entity. Sensor derived data that has a locality corresponding to a map tile in the set of map tiles may be obtained. A field-programmable gate array of the vehicle may then be invoked to combine the sensor derived data and the map tile to create a modified map tile. The modified map tile may be communicated to a control system of the vehicle.

Abstract: Technologies for managing interoperable high definition (HD) maps for autonomous vehicles includes a HD map server to distribute interoperable HD map tiles to various autonomous vehicles, each of which may be configured to utilize proprietary HD map tiles of different propriety formats. As such, each of the autonomous vehicles is configured to translate the interoperable HD map tile to the proprietary format used by that particular vehicle. Additionally, each autonomous vehicle may submit crowd-sourced sensor data to the interoperable HD map server using a universal data set by converting the sensor data to a universal data structure.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for optimizing the operations of an ICN, particularly for an ICN with clustered nodes. A cluster head node may function as an orchestrator and a coordinator for efficient caching, routing, and computing and for co-existence of ICN and IP nodes in the network. A content store of an ICN router may include an indication of the time after which data expires and the new data is to be swapped in place of the expired data after that point in time. Digital rights management (DRM) enforcement is provided by managing access to a DRM engine in at least one of the ICN nodes in a cluster. Congestion control is provided by minimizing the number of ICN scoped interest requests and thereby minimizing the potentially high volume of data responses. These techniques optimize interest packet forwarding and processing through collaboration with neighboring ICN nodes.
