    摘要: An enclosure for a terminal block that provides a telecommunications transmission connection. The enclosure includes a housing that defines an interior region adapted to support a terminal block. The housing has an open front face and includes a rear wall, and a number of side walls that border the interior region. A cover is attached to one side wall of the housing for covering the interior region. The cover is moveable to a partially open, a widely open, or a fully open position to allow access to the interior region of the housing. One side wall of the housing includes a socket member that defines a groove. A hinge structure is rotatably moveable within the socket member for attaching the cover to a side wall of the housing. Biasing means are seated within the groove and interposed between the hinge structure and socket member. The biasing means bias the cover against rotatable movement between the closed position and the partially open position, or between the partially open position and the widely open position, or between the widely open position and the fully open position. The biasing means includes a leaf spring having first and second flexible legs, the first of which is secured within the groove, the second of which contacts the hinge structure to provide a resistive force against rotatable movement of the hinge structure.

    摘要: A system to prevent longitudinal lading movement in trailers, containers, boxcars or other freight transport vehicles. A captive crossbar is used to restrain the lading. One end of the crossbar is captured in a guide channel attached to a wall of the transport vehicle. Once the transport vehicle is loaded, a roller device on the captive end of the crossbar enables the operator to position the crossbar along the guide channel easily. The crossbar is then pivoted about the roller assembly to span the loading region of the transport vehicle. As the crossbar is rotated, locking elements on each end of the crossbar engage respective lock receiving apertures defined on each vehicle wall. When the crossbar is not in use it may be stowed within the guide channel, permitting free access to the loading region of the vehicle for the loading and unloading of freight.

    摘要: A new and improved switch incorporating an integral contact and return spring element for use in data entry keyboards is disclosed. The unitary contact and return spring element includes a spring member and a contact member. At rest, only the spring member contacts the underlying circuit board at a first terminal. If the spring contact is compressed a suitable distance, however, the contact member contacts a second portion of the circuit board to complete a circuit between the first and second terminal. The unitary contact and return spring element may include a plurality of spring contact members overlying an equal number of circuit board terminals. The use of multiple spring and contact elements allows use of double-pole, double-throw and double-pole, break-before-make embodiments.
