Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of at least one vegetable oil refining industry by-product to obtain a purified total unsaponifiable of vegetable oil cleared of the impurities initially present in the said by-product, advantageously cleared of sapid and odorous compounds and/or chemical compounds resulting from the deterioration and the degradation of vegetable oils. The invention further relates to a method for obtaining a purified total unsaponifiable of vegetable oil from at least one vegetable oil refining industry by-product. The invention further relates to a purified total unsaponifiable of vegetable oil able to be obtained by this method, as well as compositions containing such an unsaponifiable. The invention further relates to such unsaponifiables or such compositions for the use thereof as a drug, medical device, dermatological agent, cosmetic agent or nutraceutical, in humans or animals.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for the solid/liquid extraction of a natural extract contained in at least one vegetable solid or micro-organism comprising at least the following steps: solid/liquid extraction of at least one vegetable solid or micro-organism by a first solvent system comprising a solvent content chosen from the solvents comprising between 5 and 8 carbon atoms and one or two oxygen atoms in ether function, or ketone function, or ester function form, of at least 50% by volume in relation to the total volume of the first solvent system, retrieval of a natural extract, notably comprising or consisting of an oil or a butter, particularly enriched with unsaponifiable.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the solid/liquid extraction of an oil or butter, particularly having a high unsaponifiable content, contained in at least one solid vegetable matter or a micro-organism. The method includes at least the following steps: solid/liquid extraction of at least one solid vegetable matter or a micro-organism using a first solvent system comprising a concentration of solvent selected from among fluorinated aromatic solvents, particularly trifluorotoluene (BTF) and hexafluorobenzene (BHF), tert-butyl ethers, particularly 2-ethoxy-2-methylpropane, also known as ethyl-tert-butyl-ether (ETBE), and 2-methoxy-2-methylpropane or methyl-tert-butylether (MTBE), solvents comprising at least one silicon atom, particularly hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDS) and tetramethylsilane (TMS), methyl-tetrahydrofuran (MeTHF), and mixtures thereof, representing at least 50 vol.-% in relation to the total volume of the solvent system; and, optionally, recovery of a fraction comprising the oil or butter, particularly unsaponifiable enriched. The invention also relates to an unsaponifiable fraction, oil or butter obtained using this method and to compositions containing said oil or fraction.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for obtaining a furan lipid-rich unsaponifiable material from avocado, which comprises the successive steps (1) of controlled dehydration of fresh avocados or of avocados that have undergone preliminary transformations, (2) of extraction of the oil from dehydrated fruit, (3) of a heat treatment of the extracted oil and of a step of concentration of the unsaponifiable fraction of the oil or alternately, these two operations possibly being carried out successively in this order or in the reverse order, and finally (4) a step of saponification and of extraction of the unsaponifiable material.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for selectively extracting furan lipids and polyhydroxylated fatty alcohols of avocado, characterised in that it comprises steps which consist in: preparing an unsaponifiable matter of avocado; then in subjecting the unsaponifiable matter of avocado to a step of molecular distillation using adjusted temperature and pressure means to obtain either a distillate comprising mainly furan lipids and polyhydroxylated fatty alcohols of avocado. Said method enables in particular to extract selectively furan lipids of avocado having a furan lipid content of more than 80 wt. %, even close to 98%.
Abstract:
A miniature small pitch connection element comprises an insulating elastomer body associated with conducting strips. The strips are disposed about the body over the largest part of its circumference and the remaining portion of the strips is overmolded by the body to be inside it to provide a strong mechanical connection between said strips and the body. The strips emerging from said body by their respective two ends.

Abstract:
The invention concerns the use of at least a fatty ester for preparing a composition designed to inhibit 5α-reductase activity. Said use produces a remarkable inhibiting effect of 5α-reductase thereby providing a novel response for treating dermatological pathologies and/or disorders related to congenital or acquired exaggeration of 5α-reductase activity, in particular for treating prostatic hypertrophy, prostatic adenoma, acne, hyperseborrhea, alopecia and hirsutism. The invention also concerns cosmetic treatment methods, in particular for greasy skin, and the use of said fatty esters as additives in a food product for human and/or animal consumption.
