摘要： A microreplicated article having a moiré reducing surface and method of manufacturing the same, are disclosed. A microreplicated article includes a flexible substrate having first and second opposed surfaces, a first coated microreplicated pattern on the first surface, and a second coated microreplicated pattern on the second surface. The first coated microreplicated pattern and the second coated microreplicated pattern are registered to within 10 micrometers in a machine direction and a transverse direction and the first coated microreplicated pattern and second coated microreplicated pattern form a plurality of lens segments. Each lens segment includes a plurality of lens elements each having an optical axis where all of the lens element optical axes are parallel to each other and lens elements within a first lens segment have optical axes that are offset from optical axes of lens elements within an adjacent second lens segment.

摘要： A landfill cover composition comprising a concentrate formulated to include a hardening agent, a thickener and emulsifier, and a super absorbent polymer, mixable with water and a filler material, such as cellulose or wood fiber mulch. A mixture of water, filler material and concentrate is sprayed on the surface of a landfill refuse layer and hardened to provide at least a temporary cover as an alternative to a significantly thicker or deeper layer of conventional soil or earth cover. The biodegradable composition preferably includes Plaster of Paris and guar gum compositions and cross-linked sodium acrylate polymer fines, mixed with the filler material and water at a landfill site for reducing transportation and handling costs.

摘要： A device and method of operation for filling medicine capsules, in which a fixed quantity of open capsules to be filled are supported in a circular array by a holder plate beneath the periphery of a rotatable distribution drum. In use, a measured supply of filling medication, in dry granular form, is dispensed into the center of the rotating drum where it is distributed evenly by centrifugal force along the periphery of the drum. As the drum stops rotating, the medication flows by gravity into the capsules, which are then inspected, closed and packaged. The distribution of filler material is more even than if the capsules were filled by hand, and the average quantity (both by volume and by weight) of the filling material per capsule in the batch is variable to suit an individual patient's needs, and very accurately known. In addition, two or more compatible filler medications may be mixed in the same capsules to suit the specialized needs of a particular user. Because the provided quantity of medication is completely distributed into each batch of capsules, inadvertent double-filling is prevented.

摘要： A method for mounting lead sockets in the holes in an electrical interconnection board. The lead sockets are hollow cylindrical elements having a tapered opening at one end and a plurality of normally converging flexible fingers at the other end. The lead sockets are force fitted into the holes in the board with the receptacle end of the socket opening into the component side of the board. The lead sockets are vibrated into place while a vacuum is applied to temporarily seat the lead sockets in the holes in the board. The lead sockets are then finally force fitted into the holes in the board by several alternative means. The apparatus for accomplishing the method of this invention is also disclosed.
