Thereby, the system development based on the design mixing the hardware and software can divide changes and corrections that can take place during the development process at a high level of a development initial step, so that the system can be constructed from the ground up.
Abstract:
An optical scanner system and method having a light source, a first mirror rotatable along a first torsion axis to reflect light from the light source, a first vibrator to vibrate the first mirror, a second mirror positioned adjacent to the first mirror and rotatable along a second torsion axis different from the first torsion axis, a second vibrator to vibrate the second mirror, and a mirror reflecting the light reflected from the first mirror to the second mirror. In addition, microminiaturization may be further embodied by applying an MEMS technology. Further, a vibrating body may be designed to vibrate with high frequencies by reducing the size and mass of the vibrating body. Through embodiments of the present invention, it is also possible to prevent interference between light entering a mirror package and the finally reflected light.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a circuit for controlling a refresh oscillator, and more specifically, to a circuit for controlling a refresh oscillator, wherein refresh characteristics can be tested in a more efficient manner in such a manner that the refresh characteristics are tested at a refresh cycle, which is extended as long as a predetermined time from an originally set refresh cycle, in a user test mode so as to measure a refresh margin over a wide temperature range.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus, a method, and a sensor for scanning engine oil of a vehicle. An apparatus for scanning engine oil according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes an oil property measuring part for measuring physical and chemical properties of engine oil; a driving condition measuring part for measuring a engine driving condition; a control portion where predetermined values about conditions of engine oil according to engine driving conditions are stored as set values, for selecting a set value corresponding to a measured engine driving condition and calculating a result value about a quality of engine oil on the basis of comparison with a measured value determined according to an engine driving condition inputted from the driving condition measuring part and the set value; and an output part for outputting the result.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a server system for performing communication over a wireless network that can avoid data transmission delay due to the variation of a wireless network state and can carry out a real-time transmission operation. A network renderer provided in a server device includes a separate ring buffer so that it can be functionally separated from an encoder. Alternatively, the network renderer includes a thread transmission module for discarding part of data according to the network state and carrying out a thread transmission operation. Therefore, the server system avoids transmission delay due to the variation of a wireless network environment or data loss/error due to encoding delay caused by data congestion in the encoder. Moreover, the server system can perform stable wireless communication, thereby enabling a client device to reproduce real-time data.
Abstract:
A synthesis of an energetic prepolymer used as a high-energy binder for an insensitive and high performance explosive is disclosed. More specifically, provided are a novel compound 2-nitratoethyl oxirane expressed by formula III, a novel compound poly(2-nitratoethyl oxirane) expressed by formula IV, obtained by polymerization of 2-nitratoethyl oxirane used as a monomer and a preparation method thereof. The compound, used as an energetic prepolymer and a monomer for preparation thereof can substitute for existing poly(glycidyl nitrate) (PGN) which has been known to be a promising one having the best performance among existing energetic prepolymers, but which has a problem to be self-decomposed after synthesis of polyurethane elastomer, to solve this problem.
Abstract:
Methods are provided for forming semiconductor devices. One method includes forming a first layer overlying a bulk semiconductor substrate. A second layer is formed overlying the first layer. A plurality of trenches is etched into the first and second layers. Portions of the second layer that are disposed between the plurality of trenches define a plurality of fins. A gate structure is formed overlying the plurality of fins. The first layer is etched to form gap spaces between the bulk semiconductor substrate and the plurality of fins. The plurality of fins is at least partially supported in position adjacent to the gap spaces by the gate structure. The gap spaces are filled with an insulating material.
Abstract:
Fabrication methods for semiconductor device structures are provided. One method for fabricating a semiconductor device structure involves forming a first layer of a first dielectric material overlying a doped region formed in a semiconductor substrate, forming a first conductive contact electrically connected to the doped region within the first layer, forming a dielectric cap on the first conductive contact, forming a second layer of a second dielectric material overlying the dielectric cap and a gate structure overlying the semiconductor substrate, and forming a second conductive contact electrically connected to the gate structure within the second layer.
Abstract:
Methods are provided for fabricating FinFETs that avoid thickness uniformity problems across a die or a substrate. One method includes providing a semiconductor substrate divided into a plurality of chips, each chip bounded by scribe lines. The substrate is etched to form a plurality of fins, each of the fins extending uniformly across the width of the chips. An oxide is deposited to fill between the fins and is etched to recess the top of the oxide below the top of the fins. An isolation hard mask is deposited and patterned overlying the plurality of fins and is used as an etch mask to etch trenches in the substrate defining a plurality of active areas, each of the plurality of active areas including at least a portion of at least one of the fins. The trenches are filled with an insulating material to isolate between adjacent active areas.
Abstract:
A catalyst for treating an exhaust gas has at least a carrier and plural layers formed on the carrier, wherein at least one layer of the above plural layers has an interstice in the layer, and at least one layer of the above plural layers contains a catalyst component. The above catalyst for treating an exhaust gas allows the enhancement of the diffusion of an exhaust gas in a catalyst layer, which results in the improvement of catalyst efficiency.
