Abstract:
A polylactic acid triblock copolymer and a preparation method thereof are described. The polylactic acid triblock copolymer comprises an aromatic polyester oligomer block and a polylactic acid block. The polylactic acid triblock copolymer is obtained by reacting an aromatic polyester oligomer with a monomer lactide at a desired temperature. The polylactic acid block copolymer has a regular structure indicated by peak melting temperatures (Tm) corresponding to the aromatic polyester oligomer block and the polylactic acid block, respectively. Examples of the aromatic polyester oligomer block include polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, and polyethylene 1,4-naphthalate. Examples of the monomer lactide include L-lactide and D-lactide.
Abstract:
In some implementations, a method of wireless communications between a wireless communications network and wireless user equipment includes receiving, using a primary Time Division Duplex (TDD) configuration, data on a primary component carrier in a first frequency band. Using a secondary TDD configuration, data on a secondary component carrier is received in a second frequency band different from the first frequency band. A Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) for data received on the secondary component carrier is transmitted using a supplemental TDD configuration. A transmission or retransmission on the secondary component carrier uses a supplemental TDD configuration as well. The supplemental TDD configuration is different from the secondary TDD configuration. Furthermore, an uplink supplemental configuration may be different from a downlink supplemental configuration.
Abstract:
A method, system and device are provided for avoiding in-device coexistence interference between different radio technologies deployed in adjacent bands on the same device by controlling and separating the LTE signaling and the non-LTE signaling using dedicated time intervals to separate LTE signaling from non-LTE signaling. In addition, coexistence mode handover procedures are provided which use threshold-based triggering events to avoid coexistence interference and to prevent ping-pong effects by establishing a “keeping time” parameter so that a non-interfering network node does not switch back to an interfering network node after handoff. Coexistence interference is also avoided by providing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) mechanism which accounts for coexistence interference by providing a fixed or variable on-interval parameter and an activity parameter indicating whether non-LTE activity is present to maximize a time interval for non-LTE devices without interference from LTE activity on the same device.
Abstract:
Novel compounds of Formula I:or an enantiomer, diastereomer, tautomer, prodrug or salt thereof, wherein m, Q, T, U, V, ring A, X, Y, R3, R4, R4a, R5a, R5b, R5c, R5d, R5e, R6a, R6b, and R6c are defined herein, are provided which are TGR5 G protein-coupled receptor modulators. TGR5 G protein-coupled receptor modulators are useful in treating, preventing, or slowing the progression of diseases requiring TGR5 G protein-coupled receptor modulator therapy. Thus, the disclosure also concerns compositions comprising these novel compounds and methods of treating diseases or conditions related to the activity of the TGR5 G protein-coupled receptor by using any of these novel compounds or a composition comprising any of such novel compounds.
Abstract:
A switch operator is provided that includes a single piece actuator shaft coupled to a single piece cap. According to certain embodiments, the actuator shaft may be snap fit to the cap. The cap may include an annular sleeve and an annular skirt that extend orthogonally from the cap. The sleeve includes recesses that receive tabs of the actuator shaft to couple the actuator shaft to the cap. In certain embodiments, the actuator shaft may include slots that allow the actuator shaft to flex upon attachment to from the cap. A bushing encircles the actuator shaft and extends into the cap where the bushing is disposed between the annular sleeve and a skirt. The actuator shaft also includes a pair of diametrically opposed slots that house a detent assembly. The detent assembly may be employed to retain the switch operator in the actuated position and in the unactuated position.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns synchronization of correlated media presentations among two or more media devices. Each device makes a determination as to whether inter-presentation synchronization may be outside of a predetermined tolerance. If so, the device making the determination communicates its buffer and playback status to the other device. Based upon comparison of the buffer and playback status of the local presentation with the buffer and playback status of the presentation at the other device, each device makes a determination as to whether to pause play-back, so as to allow the other device to catch up, advance playback, so as to catch up with the other device, or take no action, allowing the other device to take action to correct the synchronization issue.
Abstract:
Systems, methods and products directed toward facilitating updates at an information handling device. One aspect includes providing additional operating system content at an information handling device, partitioning a recovery list comprising at least one element of a base operating system, preparing at least one of the base operating system and the additional operating system content for an operating system update, accessing the recovery list and assimilating content from the recovery list in preparation for the operating system update, and undertaking the operating system update. Other embodiments are described herein.
Abstract:
A multicast/unicast admission control method, a multicast/unicast admission control device, and a multicast/unicast admission control system are provided. In the method, through centralized resource control of a resource and admission control subsystem (RACS), sharing of multicast/unicast resources is realized. The RACS allocates and authorizes resources to an access node (AN), the AN manages the obtained multicast resources under the authorization, and the resource allocation is adjusted through interaction when the multicast resources of the AN or the resources of the RACS are not sufficient.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and apparatuses of a wireless communications network include identifying a resource collision between uplink channels for acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signaling of a first component carrier and a second component carrier. An indicator representative of the ACK/NACK signaling of the first component carrier and the second component carrier can be identified.
Abstract:
A latch assembly is provided for securing a switch operator to a contact block. The latch assembly includes a collar designed to retain the switch operator in the latch assembly. The latch assembly also includes a housing having one or more apertures for receiving fasteners to secure the contact block to the latch assembly. The collar is displaceable within the housing between a locked position that secures the switch operator and an unlocked position that permits disengagement of the switch operator from the collar. When the collar is in the locked position, corresponding apertures in the collar align with the one or more apertures in the housing, permitting the fasteners to be inserted through the collar apertures. Insertion of the fasteners through the collar apertures secures the collar in the locked position, thereby impeding unintentional disconnection of the switch operator from the latch assembly.
