    摘要: A thermal airflow meter excellent in flow-rate measurement accuracy is provided. The airflow meter has a flow-rate measuring element comprising a heat resistor and a temperature-compensating resistor which are formed on the a first base member. A second base member of the airflow meter, provided with a drive circuit and a signal processor, is housed in a casing holding the flow-rate measuring element. The flow-rate measuring element is disposed in an air passage. Of two temperature sensors for measuring temperature at each of two points in the thermal airflow meter, respectively, a first temperature sensor is provided on the fist substrate of the flow-rate measuring element, and a second temperature sensor is provided inside the casing. The signal processor has a function of computing an airflow rate, an air temperature, and an air passage wall face temperature on the basis of an output signal of the flow-rate measuring element and respective output signals of the first and second sensors.

    摘要: A thermal air flowmeter which improves air flow rate measurement sensitivity, reduces power consumption of a heating element and broadens the measuring range. A heating resistor is provided on insulating film in a thermal insulating area as a rectangular space on a flat substrate; and two resistance temperature detectors are provided upstream and downstream of the heating resistor. The sides of the rectangular thermal insulating area which are parallel to the axis of air flow are longer than its sides which are perpendicular to the axis of air flow.

    摘要: IN a thermal type flow measurement apparatus, a heating element is disposed in a fluid passage and generates heat by a passage of a current through itself. A first thermal sensitive element is disposed adjacent upstream of the heating element in a direction of fluid flow to be measured. A second thermal sensitive element is disposed adjacent downstream of the heating element in the direction of fluid flow to be measured. The fluid passage is provided with the heating element, the first thermal sensitive element, and the second thermal sensitive element. The fluid passage has an asymmetric structure with respect to the direction of fluid flow. Means for measuring a difference of temperatures is sensed by the first and the second thermal sensitive elements to produce a voltage according to a fluid flow rate. Heat control means for controlling the passage of the current through the heating element so that a sum with weights of respective temperatures sensed by the first and the second thermal sensitive elements reaches a preset value.

    摘要: A heating resistance flow rate measuring apparatus which can use a power source of an ECU in an automobile without requiring an expensive protective circuit and regulator. Heating of temperature detecting resistors themselves causes temperature changes on the windward and leeward sides, and these temperature changes depend on the amounts of heat generated by the temperature detecting resistors. The amounts of heat generated by the temperature detecting resistors depend on a voltage value of the ECU power source applied to the temperature detecting resistors, and an error is caused in a sensor output depending on a variation in the voltage of the ECU power source. Based on the finding that suppressing the amount of heat generated by the temperature detecting resistors is effective in avoiding the sensor output error caused depending on a variation in the output voltage of the ECU power source, means for suppressing the amount of heat generated by the temperature detecting resistors is disposed.

    摘要: A circuit for protecting a load from an overvoltage can be integrated together with the load on the same chip by an MOS transistor manufacture process. This overvoltage protecting circuit is composed of a surge protection circuit, an overvoltage detecting circuit and a switching circuit. The surge protection circuit including two MOS transistors operates so that a surge voltage applied to a power supply receiving terminal is clamped by virtue of the source-drain breakdown voltage of the two MOS transistors, thereby absorbing the surge energy. The overvoltage detecting circuit including two MOS transistors operates so that a DC voltage supplied from the surge protection circuit is monitored with the source-drain voltage of the two MOS transistors taken as a reference voltage, thereby detecting an overvoltage. An overvoltage detection output brings an MOS transistor of the switching circuit into a turned-off condition to protect the load.

    摘要: Dynamic quantitative displacement is converted stably and straight into voltage (D.C. output) by using a high speed detection driving frequency without restricting a response of an operational amplifier. When a dynamic quantity detection electrostatic capacitance changes according to a dynamic quantity, electric charges stored in this element and in a reference electrostatic capacitance become unbalanced to produce a difference value, and an output of an operational amplifier changes according to the difference in electric charge quantity. However, the output becomes finally stable when the electric charges in the dynamic quantity detection electrostatic capacitance and in the reference electrostatic capacitance become equal. The output is proportional to a reciprocal of the dynamic quantity detection electrostatic capacitance and it is a D.C. voltage. Further, output without depending on integration feedback capacitance (feedback condenser) CF can be obtained.
