摘要: A damping valve (10) resists a flow of fluid from a first fluid chamber (41) to a second fluid chamber (42) which are separated by a piston (1). A partitioning member (24, 27-29, 52) partitions an inflow space. (A, B) of a passage (2) in the first fluid chamber (41). A spool (17, 31, 51) decreases a flow cross-sectional area of a flow path from the first fluid chamber (41) into the inflow space (A, B) according to a differential pressure between the fluid chambers. By ensuring a gap between the outer circumference of the valve disk (1) and the partitioning member (24, 27-29, 52) which permanently allows fluid to flow from the first chamber (41) into the inflow space (A, B), the damping force characteristic in a high speed region of piston displacement can be set independently of the damping force characteristic in other regions.

摘要: A CCD microscope includes: two polarized light illumination systems for irradiating polarized lights having vibrating directions in perpendicular to each other selectively to an object to be observed, and an analyser disposed on an optical path from the object to a CCD device for picking-up an image of the object, the analyser having a vibrating direction in parallel with the vibrating direction of the polarized light from one polarized light illumination system, and in perpendicular to the vibrating direction of the polarized light from the other polarized light illumination system. The surface state of the object is picked-up by a polarized light of one polarized light illumination system that is kept unchanged for the polarized state upon reflection on the surface, while the inner state of the object is picked-up by a polarized light of the other polarized light illumination system that is changed for the polarized state.

摘要: An exhaust gas filter for passing exhaust gas of a diesel engine or the like therethrough, thereby removing particulate matter from the exhaust gas. By suitably controlling physical properties of the exhaust gas filter such as a thermal expansion coefficient, the durability of the exhaust gas filter can be enhanced. When a constituent material for the exhaust gas filter includes aluminum titanate as a primary component, the durability can be further enhanced.

摘要: This invention provides the form B crystal of (R)-1-[2,3-dihydro-1-(2'-methylphenacyl)-2-oxo-5-phenyl-1H-1,4-benzodiazepin-3-yl]-3-(3-tolyl)urea which is produced by recrystallizing the compound from a mixed solvent of at least 1 volume of water and 5 volumes of an alcohol. The form B crystals have excellent filtration property and flowability, so that they can be handled markedly easily at the time of filtration for their large scale production or when they are made into pharmaceutical preparations and therefore are useful in view of their industrial production.

摘要: A double-sided printed wiring board includes a base plate having a copper foil laminated on each of the opposite sides thereof. The copper foil-laminated base plate has through-holes extending therethrough, and at least one of the through-holes is internally plated for providing a through-via-hole into which a resin filler is provided and solidified. A closed through-via-hole is thus obtained. The copper foil-laminated base plate including the closed through-via-hole is copper-plated, and a particular wiring pattern is formed thereon. A chip land is formed in alignment with the closed through-via-hole.

摘要: A method of fabricating a flat type electrochemical device, which is constructed by placing in a case comprising first and second case half bodies a separator and first and second functional substances for an electrochemical device so arranged as to interpose the separator. Peripheral portions of the first and second case half bodies are overlapped with each other, the peripheral portions are welded by a welding process during the application of pressure whereby the peripheral portions are joined with substantially no gaps. The portions welded by the welding process with pressure are then further welded using a laser beam welding.

摘要: A dielectric filter including a plurality of coaxial type dielectric resonators having outer conductors and inner conductors is arranged so that the outer conductors are connected to each other. Also included in the dielectric filter are central conductors arranged to be brought into contact with the inner conductors of said plurality of coaxial type dielectric resonators and a dielectric substrate having thereon a plurality of substrate conductors whose number at least corresponds to the number of the plurality of coaxial type dielectric resonators, and input/output terminals provided on said dielectric substrate. The central conductors are respectively coupled to the substrate conductors provided on the dielectric substrate and inductance elements are connected to the substrate conductors which are positioned at both sides.

摘要: A stacked electric double layer capacitor including a peripheral portion of an intermediate electrode plate held between peripheral portions of first and second case halves to be welded to each other, thereby defining first and second closed spaces for storing first and second capacitor elements, respectively. The first and second electrode plates are exposed by openings provided in the first and second case halves to form external terminal means, respectively. The two capacitor elements, stacked in series with each other are stored in the case, formed by joining the case halves to form a stacked electric double layer capacitor which can be reduced in thickness with substantially no leakage of electrolyte.
