    摘要: In order to detect setting defects of a self-piercing rivet in a self-piercing rivet setting machine, on a graph having X-Y coordinates representing a rivet driven stroke and a rivet driving load, a normal upper limit curve 37 defining the upper limit of a normal setting range and a normal lower limit curve 38 defining the lower limit of the normal setting range are plotted to detect a conventionally detectable setting defects. Further, a defect upper limit curve 39 and a defect lower limit curve 41 which are obtained from an additional setting defect different from the conventionally detectable setting defects are plotted between the normal upper limit curve and the normal lower limit curve, so that the additional setting defect is detected when a plotted curve 45 of actual-measurement data of a rivet under a rivet driving operation lies between the defect upper and lower limit curves.

    摘要: An antenna module suitable for a reduction in size and weight of equipment and improved in manufacturability. The antenna module includes a ground element formed from a planar conductor, an antenna element formed from a planar conductor and arranged in parallel to the ground element, and a loop element formed from a tubular conductor and arranged between the ground element and the antenna element in predetermined positional relationship with both elements so as to be connected with the antenna element. The loop element has a first hollow portion passing therethrough in a given direction. The antenna module further includes an element support formed from an insulator and arranged so as to fill a space between the ground element and the antenna element and substantially fully cover an outer surface of the loop element. The element support is formed with a second hollow portion passing therethrough in the same direction as that of the first hollow portion of the loop element.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an ink ribbon winding mechanism for a printer which prints with an ink ribbon. It is constructed by disposing a ribbon winding gear, which is connected with an ink ribbon winding shaft through a slipping mechanism, and a detection driving gear for detecting markers for color identification for a color ink ribbon, which is connected directly with the winding shaft, and by locating a transmission gear for transmitting the driving force of a driving source selectively to these two gears between the driving source driving the ink ribbon winding shaft and the winding gear as well as the detection driving gear. The marker for color identification are detected correctly by directly transmitting the driving force from the driving source to the ribbon winding shaft at the detetion of the markers in the color ink ribbon.

    摘要: A fastener setting tool is constructed so that the mandrel of a fastener is inserted into a nose at the front end of the tool; the body of the fastener projected from the nose is inserted into the mounting hole of a base member such as a panel; under that condition, the mandrel is pulled enough to break the mandrel to enlarge the shank of the fastener body to fix the fastener by the enlarged shank portion and a flange of the fastener body. The tool also includes a broken piece collecting assembly 30 for collecting, through a path 9 within the tool, the broken pieces 37 of the mandrels, which are broken by the above pulling operation. The broken piece collecting assembly comprises a container 15 encircling the outlet port of the path and extending to elongate the path for collecting the broken pieces as discharged from the path; and a broken piece entangling prevention means disposed in the container. The broken piece entangling prevention means comprises an elongated broken piece receiver member 31 extending in the container along the axis of the path. The broken piece receiver member 31 is provided with an elongated groove 34 to receive the broken piece 37 outputted from the path in its existing posture.

The manufacturing method for the antenna modules includes a first step of setting in a mold a first conductive base material including a plurality of the ground elements integrally connected together, a second conductive base material including a plurality of the antenna elements integrally connected together, and a third conductive base material including a plurality of the loop elements integrally connected together; a second step of filling a cavity defined in the mold with a curing fluid and then curing the curing fluid to thereby form an element support base material including a plurality of the element supports integrally connected together; and a third step of cutting the element support base material together with the first, second and third conductive base materials to thereby obtain a plurality of the antenna modules.
