摘要： A steam generating device and a washing machine having the same are disclosed. The steam generating device includes a lower housing, which contains water, in which a heater is arranged, and which has a vertical length longer than a horizontal length, an upper housing including a steam chamber for containing steam generated as the water is heated, a water level sensor for sensing a water level of the water chamber, and a receptacle for covering the water level sensor, the receptacle including an opening for allowing water to be introduced into the receptacle. In accordance with this configuration, it is possible to easily install the steam generating device, to achieve a superior performance, to prevent the water level sensor from malfunctioning, and to prevent spots from being formed on laundry.

摘要： Disclosed is a packing structure for a lithium ion polymer battery, which includes: a battery casing including a lower multilayer polymer and an upper multilayer polymer, wherein the lower multilayer polymer has an inner space of a predetermined size for housing at least one electrode assembly and an electrolyte and is provided with an extension portion extending radially and outwardly from a top edge of each vertical portion of the lower multilayer polymer, a part of the upper multilayer polymer is coupled rotatably to a part of the extension portion of the lower multilayer polymer and remaining parts of the upper multilayer polymer are sealed to remaining parts of the extension portion of the lower multilayer polymer; and a battery protection member, which wraps the outer circumference of the battery casing so that the battery contained in the battery casing can be protected from external impact, and is fixed integrally by a part of the sealed extension portions. The packing structure can protect a battery from external impact while minimizing an increase in size of the whole battery.

摘要： A surface treated nitride semiconductor in use for a light emitting diode, in which an n-cladding layer is formed on a substrate. An active layer having a multiple quantum well structure is formed on the n-cladding layer. A p-cladding layer is formed on the active layer. A p-capping layer is formed on the p-cladding layer in a low temperature range in which single crystal growth does not take place. The p-capping layer has a nanoscale roughened structure formed in an upper surface thereof via heat treatment in a high temperature range in which at least partial crystallization takes place. The nanoscale roughened structure reduces total internal reflection of the nitride semiconductor thereby improving external quantum efficiency thereof.

摘要： The steam cleaner with seal flap comprises a handle assembly further comprising a sprayer tube that channels pressured water to a sprayer nozzle to spray the pressured water to the area or surface to be treated and a collector tube channeling the used water back to the main unit where the used water is stored in a storage tank; a collector head assembly, located at a free end of the collector tube of the handle assembly, collecting the used water from the treated surface through a vacuum aperture at the lower end with a vacuum aperture edge being a pressure seal; and a seal flap movably attached to the head assembly to provide a secondary seal cover to preserve vacuum pressure in case the vacuum aperture edge is lifted from the floor surface. The seal flap also guides the water spray onto to the target surface area.
