    摘要: A catalyst for purifying NOx is provided which efficiently decomposes and purify the NOx in an exhaust gas in an oxygen-excess atmosphere, excels in resistance to heat and in durability in a high temperature range under a high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere and in the presence of moisture and SOx, and manifests the catalytic activity over a wide range of temperature. It is a catalyst for purifying nitrogen oxides formed by coating (A) a catalytically active component comprising (A-a) iridium and (A-b) at least one element selected from the group consisting of the elements of Group IIIA and Group IVA in the Periodic Table of the Elements with (B) a refractory inorganic compound.

    摘要: An incandescent bulb filament having a flat Light-emitting surface and high Lamp efficiency and an incandescent bulb using this filament are provided. This incandescent bulb filament is characterized in that it is a filament of ribbon shape placed on one plane, and it includes: spaced portions which are placed side by side with spaces; and connecting portions which connect the spaced portions electrically in series. Each spaced portion has a thickness that is one half the width of the spaced portion or more, and the space between at least one pair of adjacent spaced portions is less than five times the width of the spaced portion.

    摘要: A metal halide lamp according to the present invention includes: a main tube 6 made of a light-transmitting ceramic and forming a part of an arc tube; a first thin tube 7a coupled to a first end of the main tube 6; a second thin tube 7b coupled to a second end of the main tube 6; a pair of electrodes 5a, 5b, which are inserted into the first and second thin tubes 7a, 7b, respectively, such that the far ends thereof face each other inside the main tube 1; and a first metal halide enclosed in the arc tube. A second metal halide, which has a lower vapor pressure than that of the first metal halide, is further enclosed in the arc tube. And the main tube 6 has portions, of which the inside diameter decreases monotonically toward the ends.

    摘要: There is described a thermal development apparatus, which makes it possible to prevent generation of density variations caused by changes of the processing temperature during the thermal developing operation when the thermal developing photosensitive material is continuously processed, without increasing the cost of the apparatus so much. The thermal development apparatus includes a thermal developing processor to apply a thermal development processing to the thermal developing photosensitive material, a detector to detect the thermal developing photosensitive material to be conveyed into the thermal developing processor and a controller to control the thermal developing processor in a feed forward controlling mode based on a processing condition of the thermal developing processor. The processing condition is established in advance, corresponding to a load of processing the thermal developing photosensitive material detected in advance by the detector.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a lamp device using a high-pressure vapor discharge lamp, particularly to an improvement for controlling the influence of the generation of heat, which accompanies an increase in lamp power and a reduction in the size of a reflector. A lamp device of the present invention comprises a discharge lamp having an arc tube enclosing luminescent materials and having a pair of opposing electrodes disposed therein and a pair of sealed portions extending from the arc tube; a reflector which reflects light radiated by the discharge lamp; a transparent member covering an open end of the reflector and accommodating the discharge lamp in a space between the transparent member and the reflector; and means for preventing an excessive temperature rise wherein the temperature rise of welded parts of wiring members electrically connected to the electrodes of the discharge lamp is restricted.
