摘要： A liquid or pasty, storage-stable, multiple emulsion of the O.sup.1 /W/O.sup.2 type, in which O.sup.2 forms an outer phase of the multiple emulsion, a hydrophilic emulsifier being present at the O.sup.1 /W interface and a hydrophobic emulsifier being present at the W/O.sup.2 interface, is prepared where(1) the hydrophobic emulsifier has an HLB value of at most 8 anda.sub.1) a polyacrylate ester with long-chain hydrocarbon and polyoxyalkylene groups, ora.sub.2) a polyoxyalkylenepolysiloxane with long-chain alkyl groups linked to silicon atoms, and(2) the hydrophilic emulsifier is a nonionic emulsifier with an HLB value of more than 8.

摘要： The invention relates to mild, aqueous, surfactant preparations for cosmetic purposes and as detergents. These preparations contain, as surfactants, betaines of the general formula ##STR1## in which R is an alkyl group with 7 to 21 carbon atoms, 20 to 100% by weight of the betaines used as R group having an alkyl group with 7 to 9 carbon atoms, in an amount of 1.0 to 40% by weight of the preparation used. These preparations are distinguished by their exceptionally mild and low irritating properties when used, for example, in face lotions, shampoos or lotions.

摘要： An aqueous liquid solution of a betaine of the following general formula is disclosed ##STR1## in which R is an alkyl group of coconut fatty acids, preferably hydrogenated coconut fatty acids, or a fatty acid mixture which, on the average, corresponds to coconut fatty acids, wherein the solution has a solids content of at least 40% by weight, a pH of 5 to 8 and an aminoamide content of not more than 1% by weight, characterized by a content of 1 to 3% by weight, based on the solution, of one or more saturated fatty acids with, on the average, 8 to 18 carbon atoms or one or more unsaturated fatty acids with, on the average, 8 to 24 carbon atoms and 0 to 4% by weight of glycerin, based on the solution.
