    摘要： An inhaler (1) for producing an inhalable aerosol of powdered medicament is disclosed. The inhaler (1) comprises an aerosolising device having a cyclone chamber (45) of substantially circular cross-section, inlet (24) and outlet (25) ports at opposite ends of the chamber (45) for the flow of drug laden air through the chamber (45) between said ports (24, 25) and, a bypass air inlet (46) for the flow of clean air into the chamber (45). The bypass air inlets (46) are configured so that air entering the chamber (45) through said inlet (46) forms a cyclone in the chamber (45) that interacts with the drug laden air flowing between the inlet (24) and outlet (25) ports. The inhaler (1) may have a tapered drug laden air flow conduit (70) to accelerate the flow prior to entry into the chamber (45) and/or an impaction element (81, 84, 92, 105) to deagglomerate drug particles.

    摘要： An attachable rolling plate assembly which is attached as a single unit to a portable cutting tool to facilitate the safe rolling movement of the portable cutting tool on a workpiece. The invention comprises a frame assembly formed from a single piece of molded material such as fiber enriched high-impact nylon having a pair of oppositely disposed longitudinal sidewalls and a flat base portion having an opening through which a saw blade of a power saw extends. The invention also includes a cutting guide assembly to facilitate a straight cut, reduce torsional rotation of the saw blade and reduce kickback of the saw. A water spray hose is retained to spray water in front of a saw blade of a retained worm drive power saw.

    摘要： A universal interface system for use with a data acquisition system including a data acquisition device such as a bar code scanner or scanner integrated terminal for providing digital data signals indicative of acquired data for transmission to a host device such as a computer, and a host device having host-specific input/output data format requirements. The universal interface system comprises universal data exchange means located in the data acquisition device for providing digital data signals in a universal data exchange format independent of the data format requirements of the host device; and a host interface cable coupled to the data acquisition device and to said host device, for transmitting acquired digital data from the data acquisition device to the host device, the interface cable comprising means for translating digital data from the universal data exchange format to the host-specific input/output data format requirements. The interface cable comprises a buffer for storing a host parameter data word used in communications with the host device. The universal data exchange means comprises a memory for storing a plurality of host parameter data words, each of the host parameter data words being associated with one of a plurality of different host interface modules; and means for reading from the memory and transmitting to the host interface module the host parameter data word associated with the particular host interface module operatively connected thereto.
