摘要: A system and method for generating a sentence from an inputted semantic representation includes a memory for storing a limitation which a generated sentence should satisfy generator, a generating sentence from the inputted semantic representation based upon the stored limitation, an evaluator for evaluation the generated results, and an altering device for altering the stored limitation based upon the evaluation. A cycle composed of sentence generation, evaluation of the generated sentence and alteration of the limitation is repeated until the evaluation satisfies a predetermined criterion.

摘要: A technique of optical card having high information recording density. In the optical cards, there are two types of optical cards having a read-only optical card and an additional recording optical card. Conventionally, separate readers for reproduction have been used due to difference in light reflectivity. In this invention, a light-absorbing layer (50) having light absorbing ability with respect to reading light (300) is arranged between a card side upon which the reading light is incident and a reflective surface of a pattern (21) of an optical data recording section (20), so that the optical cards have interchangeability therebetween in reading.

摘要: A certification card such as ID card or the like includes a hologram and an optical recording portion. Hologram is such that an amplitude and a phase of a light wave emitted from an object are recorded and an image of the object is rebuilt by emitting light to reproduce of an amplitude and a phase of the thus emmited light. An optical recording technique for use with the card employs data pits which are formed on an optical reflective surface of an optical recording layer. The thus formed data pits are detected by difference in optical reflectivity from the data pits when the object is illuminated by laser beam so that data are read. The card is constituted by adhering a card front substrate to a card rear substrate, and hologram and optical recording portion are formed between the card front substrate and the card rear substrate. The certification card is difficult to falsify and alter and, therefore, has high safety.

摘要: A method for manufacturing an information recording medium, a method of transferring a concavo-convex pattern, and a transfer apparatus are provided which are capable of curing a resin material with reliability even when using a light-transmitting stamper repeatedly. A stamper made of a light-transmitting resin, having a predetermined concavo-convex pattern formed on its transfer area, is inspected for an optical characteristic. The stamper is brought into contact with an energy-ray curable resin material applied to an object to be processed, thereby transferring the concavo-convex pattern to the resin material, and the resin material is irradiated with an energy ray through the stamper so that the resin material cures. The stamper is used a plurality of times to repeat these steps a plurality of times, thereby manufacturing a plurality of information recording media.

摘要: A stamper is formed so that a thickness between a concave/convex pattern formation surface, where a concave/convex pattern is formed, and a rear surface gradually decreases in a predetermined area of the stamper. The predetermined area corresponds to an area where pressure is likely to be concentrated when the concave/convex pattern of the stamper is used to form a concave/convex pattern on a substrate. A method of forming a concave/convex pattern uses such stamper, and a method of manufacturing an information recording medium uses a concave/convex pattern formed by such method.
