摘要: To provide a naked-eye type stereoscopic display device which can achieve a fine stereoscopic display property while achieving high-definition display and high yield. Aperture parts of sub-pixels neighboring to a first direction include overlapping regions which overlap in a second direction and a non-overlapping region which does not overlap. Provided that a width of the aperture part in the second direction is defined as a longitudinal aperture width, the non-overlapping region includes an aperture width fluctuating region where the longitudinal aperture width changes continuously from roughly a center of the aperture part towards both ends of the first direction, respectively. The sum of the longitudinal aperture widths of the two overlapping regions overlapping with each other at a same position in the first direction is larger than the longitudinal aperture width in roughly the center of the aperture part.

摘要: A stereoscopic image display device includes: a display panel on which pixels each constituted with a plurality of sub-pixels formed with electro-optic elements by corresponding to parallax images are arranged in matrix; and an optical module which distributes light emitted from the pixels arranged in the first and second directions to different directions from each other along the first and second directions, respectively. The display panel includes first and second non-control regions which are the regions existing between boundaries of apertures of the sub-pixels where control of electric-optic conversion cannot be done. An intersection part of the first and second non-control regions is disposed on a lattice point that is an intersection point of segments in a unit lattice constituted with lattice lines, and the first or the second non-control region is bent at least once within the unit lattice with respect to the lattice lines.

摘要: An image display device includes a display element having a unit of display comprising sub pixels displaying images for first and second view points, and an optical unit that distributes light emitted from respective sub pixels into different first directions. When a region surrounded a black matrix in the sub pixel is defined as an aperture, the sub pixels form a base unit that is an adjoining pixel pair including two sub pixels arranged with a data line therebetween. When virtual lines evenly dividing a width of the sub pixel in the first direction into K+1 pieces are presumed, K number of storage capacitor lines are arranged across at least one virtual line in the aperture. In the adjoining pixel pair, the K number of storage capacitor lines of one sub pixel are nonparallel to the K number of storage capacitor lines of the other sub pixel.
