摘要: In an SS additional information detecting unit, detection of a correlation between an image signal Si superimposed with a copying preventive control signal which is spectrum-spread and a PN code series is carried out at every vertical section. In the case where a correlation value between the copying preventive control signal which is superimposed on the image signal Si and is spectrum-spread and a PN code for inverse spreading does not exceed a predetermined threshold value, the correlation value calculated at every vertical section is added. The copying preventive control signal which is spectrum-spread and is superimposed on the image signal is detected by changing the threshold value of whether the correlation between the copying preventive control signal which is superimposed on the image signal Si and is spectrum-spread and the PN code for inverse spreading is established in accordance with a number of vertical sections constituting an object of detecting the correlation. Thereby, the spectrum spread signal can be detected even in the case where the spectrum spread signal is deteriorated.

摘要: Proposed is a novel face coat composition having improved stability used in the preparation of a shell-like casting mold for a high melting point metal or alloy by the lost-wax mold method by forming a face coat layer on a wax model using the composition and further forming a backup coat layer thereon followed by removal of the wax by melting and calcination of the shell-like mold formed from the layers. The face coat composition comprises a rare earth oxide powder as the refractory constituent and a binder which is a synthetic resin in the form of an aqueous emulsion, a water-soluble organic polymer in the form of an aqueous solution, a sol of an inorganic oxide such as aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide and zirconium oxide or a combination thereof. A small amount of a powder of rare earth glass can be admixed to the composition so that the face coat layer formed from the face coat composition may have still improved properties. The face coat layer formed from the inventive face coat composition is outstandingly resistant against attack of the high-temperature melt of a reactive metal or alloy so as not to form a reaction-hardened surface layer on the cast body.

摘要: A mail reception/display control method which permits a user on a reception side to be informed the reception of an item of mail immediately upon reception of the mail even during the course of another job, and to ascertain the content of the received mail with ease upon mail reception. A mail reception detection unit included in each of the client terminals monitors the mail reception from any other client. When the mail reception has been detected, a mail attribute discrimination unit decides whether or not the received mail is to be transferred from a server to that particular client. When the mail transfer is required, a mail transfer unit transfers the mail from the server to the particular client. Subsequently, a mail reception display unit disposed at the client on the reception side presents a display to the effect that the mail has been received. Further, when the user has made a reply of confirmation to the display of the mail reception, a mail replay unit replays the received mail.

摘要: An active matrix board comprising: an electrically insulating transparent substrate; a pixel electrode disposed in two dimensions on the substrate for each pixel; a scanning electrode arranged in common to the pixel electrodes disposed along a predetermined direction; and a switching element disposed between each of the pixel electrodes and the scanning electrode. The switching element is constituted from a thin film two-terminal element which is composed of a first conductor, a second conductor, and a hard carbon film. The hard carbon film is disposed between the first and second conductors. The element has a standard deviation of current distribution in a surface of the substrate when applied with a predetermined voltage which deviation is less than 35% of the current average.

摘要: Disclosed is a dynamic facility management system that is able to start quickly and monitor a state when various measuring instruments are attached to or removed from the facility to be securely monitored and maintained. The system includes a sensor as a measuring instrument. A measuring instrument reading device, which is a lower level device, transmits a type of the measuring instrument and a purpose of connecting the measuring instrument to a directory server. The directory server generates an instance by referring to class information and generates and registers a relation instance by referring to an inter-class relationship. The directory server transmits the generated instance to related devices on the basis of an inter-instance relationship, and the directory server exchanges facility management data between instances on the basis of the inter-instance relationship.

摘要: A triaxial acceleration sensor which has a structure including a cover joined to a substrate including a mechanically operable functional unit to be sealed, is adapted in such a way that the joined state can be reliably obtained so as to not interfere with a displacement of the functional unit. A sealing frame is made of a heated polyimide on a periphery of an upper main surface of a substrate provided with a functional unit, and a sealing layer made of a polyimide is formed over an entire lower main surface of a cover. For integrating the substrate and the cover so as to seal the functional unit, the sealing frame and the sealing layer are joined to each other by heating and pressurizing the sealing frame and the sealing layer at a temperature that is about 50° C. to about 150° C. higher than a glass transition temperature of the polyimide while bringing the sealing frame and the sealing layer into contact with each other. In this case, a recess is formed in the vicinity of a portion of the sealing layer to be brought into contact with the sealing frame so that a bump, generated from the sealing layer which is deformed in the joining step, is prevented from protruding toward the functional unit.
