摘要: Methods, computer readable media, and wireless apparatuses are disclosed for a TXOP duration field disable setting in a HE preamble, such as HE-SIG-A. An apparatus of a wireless device can include processing circuitry configured to decode a HE PPDU received from a second wireless device, the HE PPDU including a first TXOP duration field in a PHY portion of the HE PPDU. The processing circuitry can detect whether the TXOP duration field includes a disable flag based on bit values of the TXOP duration field. The disable flag can indicate absence of duration information in the TXOP duration field. Upon detecting the disable flag, a response HE PPDU can be encoded for transmission to the second wireless device. The response HE PPDU can include a second TXOP duration field with a disable flag within a PHY portion of the response HE PPDU.

摘要: Embodiments of a multi-link access point (AP) device, station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The multi-link AP device may comprise multiple APs. The multi-link AP device may encode a frame for transmission by one of the APs of the multi-link AP device. The multi-link AP device may encode the frame to include signaling to enable multi-link discovery of the APs of the multi-link AP device. The multi-link AP device may encode the signaling to include: a reduced neighbor report (RNR) element that identifies the APs of the multi-link AP device, and a multiple AP element. The multiple AP element may be configurable to include: common information for the APs of the multi-link AP device, and per-AP sub-elements that include per-AP information related to the APs of the multi-link AP device.

摘要: Multi-link device (MLD) devices and transitions are described. The MAC addresses of the AP MLD and non-AP MLD are used to generate keys for different fast transitions (FT) between a non-AP MLD and an AP MLD. In an FT initial mobility domain operation, the AP MLD MAC address is used as the R1KH-ID and the non-AP MLD MAC address is used as the S0KH-ID and S1KH-ID. The MAC addresses are exchanged in Authentication Request/Response or Association Request/Response messages and the GTK/IGTK/BIGTK are delivered in a single FT 4-way handshake. In a fast MLD transition to an AP MLD in the same ESS, the other AP MLD MAC address is used as the R1KH-ID and the non-AP MLD MAC address is used as the S1KH-ID. The MAC addresses are exchanged in Authentication Request/Response or Association Request/Response messages and the GTK/IGTK/BIGTK are delivered in an FTE.

摘要: Embodiments of a high efficiency subchannel selective transmission (HE SST) access point (AP) and an HE SST station (STA) are generally described herein. The HE SST AP may determine a temporary primary channel for an HE SST STA. The HE SST AP may communicate with the HE SST STA in a plurality of channels that includes the temporary primary channel and further includes a primary channel. The HE SST AP may determine trigger-enabled target wake time service periods (TWT SPs) for exchange of frames between the HE SST AP and the HE SST STA on the temporary primary channel. The trigger-enabled TWT SPs may be determined to not overlap with target beacon transmission times (TBTTs) at which beacon frames that include delivery traffic indication maps (DTIMs) are to be sent on the primary channel by the HE SST AP.

摘要: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. An AP may be configurable to operate as a master AP of a multi-AP group comprising the master AP and one or more satellite APs. The master AP may select, from the multi-AP group, a set of APs that is to communicate with a STA in accordance with joint processing. The master AP may allocate one or more spatial streams to each of the APs of the set of APs for a joint transmission of a null data packet (NDP) to the STA for channel sounding. The master AP may transmit an NDP announcement (NDPA) that indicates that the APs of the set of APs are to perform the joint transmission of the NDP.

An apparatus of a high efficiency (HE) access point (AP), where the apparatus comprises processing circuitry configured select a tuple from the basic HE-MCS set of tuples, if a basic HE modulation and control scheme (MCS)(HE-MCS) and a number of spatial streams (NSS) set of tuples is not empty, and otherwise select the tuple from a mandatory HE-MCS and NSS set of tuples. The processing circuitry may be further configured to encode a beacon frame in a HE single user (SU) physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU), in accordance with the selected tuple, and configure the HE AP to transmit the HE SU PPDU. Null data packets formats, methods, computer readable media, and apparatuses are disclosed for multiple 20 MHz operations.

摘要: Computing readable media, apparatuses, and methods for random access with carrier sensing are disclosed. An apparatus is disclosed including processing circuitry configured to: decode a trigger frame, the trigger frame to indicate resource units (RUs) for random access and to indicate if a carrier sense (CS) is to be performed. The processing circuitry may be further configured to: decrement a value of an orthogonal frequency division multiple-access (OFDMA) backoff (OBO) field based on a number of the RUs indicated for random access. The processing circuitry may be further configured to: when the value of the OBO field reaches a predetermined value, randomly select one of the RUs indicated for random access, and if the CS is to be performed, determine a virtual CS based on one or more network allocation vectors (NAVs) and perform a physical CS on the selected RU, and if the virtual CS and the physical CS both indicate that the selected RU is idle, configure the wireless device to transmit a physical (PHY) layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data units (PPDU) on the selected RU in accordance with OFDMA.

The processing circuitry may be further configured to: determine a path loss based on the indication of the transmit power and a received power of the trigger frame at the first wireless device. The processing circuitry may be configured to: determine a transmit power for the UL sounding signal based on the path loss, and transmit the UL sounding signal in accordance with the RU allocation, the SS allocation, and the transmit power.
