    Abstract: A wireless communication device is described. The wireless communication device includes a processor, a memory in communication with the processor and instructions stored in the memory. The instructions are executable by the processor to detect a signal degradation indication for a radio frequency (RF) signal. The instructions are also executable by the processor to cause a switch to select a combination of a first matching network and a second matching network coupled to an antenna in response to detecting the signal degradation indication.

    Abstract: Exemplary systems, apparatus, and methods described herein may improve a scan process for near field communications, such as IEEE 802.15.4.     Abstract: A wireless communication device is described. The wireless communication device includes a transmit/receive (T/R) switch that is configured with an antenna port coupled to an antenna, a transmitter port coupled to a transmitter and a receiver port coupled to a receiver. The T/R switch selectively connects the transmitter port to the antenna port or the receiver port to the antenna port. The wireless communication device also includes a T/R switch controller that sets the T/R switch to disconnect the transmitter from the antenna when the transmitter is actively transmitting in a high insertion loss mode to reduce power from the transmitter to the antenna.

    Abstract: An apparatus for wirelessly transmitting charging power is provided. The apparatus comprises a transmit coil configured to generate a wireless charging field for wirelessly transmitting charging power when driven by a current. The apparatus comprises a control circuit configured to cause the transmit coil to transmit a packet via the wireless charging field, wherein the packet comprises information indicative of the presence of the wireless charging field to cause a chargeable device to electrically disconnect a communication circuit from a receive coil within the chargeable device. The control circuit is further configured to cause the transmit coil to transmit the packet periodically based on a predetermined interval. The predetermined interval has a shorter duration than a duration of a communication interval of the communication circuit. The control circuit is further configured to reduce a magnitude of a strength of the wireless charging field during packet transmission.
