    Abstract: A display device includes a pixel disposed in a display area. The pixel includes a first electrode; a first insulating layer disposed on the first electrode, and including openings, each of the openings exposing different areas of the first electrode and defining respective cells; light emitting elements disposed in the respective cells, each of the light emitting elements including a first end electrically connected to the first electrode; and a second end protruding upward from the first insulating layer; and a second electrode disposed on the light emitting elements, and electrically connected to the second ends of each of the light emitting elements.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display device including the steps of: forming, on a first mother substrate, pixels including pixel electrodes, gate lines and data lines connected to the pixels; dividing the data lines into groups and connecting the data lines of the same group to one connection line; forming inspection electrodes on the first mother substrate overlapping a shot boundary portion of a mask, the inspection electrodes connected to a plurality of connection lines, respectively; preparing a second mother substrate; forming a common electrode on the second mother substrate; forming a mother panel including the first and second mother substrates and a liquid crystal layer therebetween; applying a first voltage to the common electrode and a second voltage to the inspection electrodes; and determining whether the inspection electrodes and the common electrode are short-circuited based on an image displayed in a display area of the mother panel.

    Abstract: A light emitting device may include: a substrate including emission areas; a first electrode disposed on the substrate; a second electrode disposed on the substrate and spaced apart from the first electrode; light emitting elements disposed on the substrate, each of the light emitting elements including a first end and a second end in a longitudinal direction of the light emitting elements; a bank disposed in each of the emission areas and including openings in which portions of each of the unit emission areas are exposed; a first contact electrode that electrically connects the first electrode with the first end of each of the light emitting elements; and a second contact electrode that electrically connects the second electrode with the second end of each of the light emitting elements. At least one of the light emitting elements may be disposed in each of the openings.
